He is definitely an uber fan. Saw him this morning queing outside the megastore and then again an hour later wandering through Westquay in full kit (including saints shin pads).

Dont believe you.

On the other hand, are you mixing him up with John Terry ?

And I'll dust off the same story as I do for every Tiff thread - he used to come into the shop I worked in when I first left school (when he was still Tiff Needell, professional racing driver and not yet Tiff Needell, TV presenter). He was a bit up himself the first few times he came in but as he got to know us better he became a bit more down to earth. Good driver in the '80s in Le Mans cars etc. and as said elsewhere, no one was going to look good in an Ensign F1 car. Then again, what would you expect from a team based in Havant? :scared:

You need to look at his record - a number of cars have apparently hit the barriers at times - but then I don't watch 5th Gear or Top Gear with the even bigger w****r Clarkson - and yes i do know my cars

I dare say you have never seen him at close quarters - I have and he is a very good driver indeed. I Have witnessed this from the passenger seat as he drove a standard Focus around a test track. Anyone who can execute a perfect 360 degree handbrake turn at 80m.p.h. with three passengers on board earns my respect.

didn't think she was that into her football, or saints. I've always thought of her as a local celeb, bit like Craig David. if ur not that into ur footie but a journo asks who u support u may as well say someone local, everyone supports someone. just dont do a Blair n try n blag u went to games as a kid.

Handbrake turns are easy - if someone else buys your rear tyres

Your average inner city 15 year old can do this although they can manage it it built up areas with speed limits so it can't be that much of a big deal :)

also lets not forget Fiona Phillips she was a red hot saint before Chelsea became more trendy

God I HATE that woman....

You just can't change your team like that, especially to one that was top two at the time.

The ultimate football betrayal...

My mum (who you would know Petersfield Saint :) ) sold him his current house when she worked in Humberts on Lavant Street!

And I once used him on a job to host a Suzuki Dealer Quiz Final at Ettington Park, in the Midlands.

I was stood outside the hotel waiting and he buzzed into the car park in this new Focus, leapt out and handed me the keys! Cheeky fecker asked me to park his car and I was paying him!!!!!

That said, how can you dislike a bloke who drives fast motors, lives near Petersfield and supports that best club on earth! :D
