landford.saint Posted 4 July, 2012 Share Posted 4 July, 2012 Lives near me. Has been attending regularly for years with his boys. I would suggest that tickets are for himself and them. I would also suggest that when you start a thread like this you put a big smiley thingey in it so people know you are not being serious. It so hard to tell a laugh from a laughing stock otherwise. Saint Garrett Posted 4 July, 2012 Share Posted 4 July, 2012 Don't understand when ppl accuse people of being glory supporters. At the end of the day a lot of people can't make the commitment to a ST but will go whenever they can or want to. Also in the lower leagues/when playing badly, it is a lot easier to walk up to the ground and buy on the gate, I'd be surprised if that happens that much this season. I've never had a full season ticket, yet I've still been following Saints whenever possible and that includes hartlepool/walsall/rochdale away all on Tuesday nights last season. Hate it when fans have ago at other fans. We're all Saints.

Crazy Diamond Posted 4 July, 2012 Share Posted 4 July, 2012 Are you sure? No-one ever thinks Guly had a good game, do they Well, either that or we get someone start a thread with 'Lay off Guly' and rant on about being a proper supporter, blind to the obvious that a player has just quite simply had a bad game. I call those people 'the Guly Defence League' or GDL. He must have been to a lot of games to have seen this. Ha. It was an occasion where Guly appeared to be in the thick of it, coping quite well. I mentioned it and Tiff agreed, saying it was one of his 'better games' so you're probably right.

VectisSaint Posted 5 July, 2012 Share Posted 5 July, 2012 He is still a crap driver Actually Stiff Needle was a decent driver, even Senna would have struggled in an Ensign (Piquet did). Lack of funds and decent oportunities meant he was never going to make it with one of the grandee teams.

Tony F Posted 5 July, 2012 Share Posted 5 July, 2012 He is still a crap driver Working aside the notion that this is a clear wind-up - at the very least it is seriously under-informed. If you were attend a session at Thruxton Motor Circuit (where Tiff regularly appears, taking punters for a spin around the track in a hair-raising fashion) you would see the exact opposite. Nah - thinking about it again - just a poor wind up attempt.
