Am I right in saying that fans get 'points' for purchasing tickets, club merchandise etc. which will be of benefit when trying to get sought after matchday tickets this season?

Furthermore, does anyone know how to monitor how many points you've accumulated?

Cheers in advance!

As far as I'm aware, the link to merchandising purchases isn't in place yet, the recent refit only just saw them install chip and pin machines

what? i was hoping the purchase of an away shirt was going to earn me enough point to guarantee an Arsenal away ticket!

Hubby asked earlier when in the Smegastore earlier (completely forgot about it on Monday when we bought our shirts) - it's definitely not up and running for merchandise, and not even sure if they're actually going to do it on merch yet.

If the new system is going to be used for away ticket sale windows they have made a big mistake. As the points are based on how much you spend a new season ticket holder will have more points than a renewal, kids and concessions will have less points than an adult who has attended the same number of games. Fans who have been going home and away for the last few years and are still planning to will not be first in line for tickets

Ridiculous if those who decide not to plaster themselves in club merchandise lose out on points..

yeah basically...not a bad thing though as I'm sure you will get tickets if you want them

Well if the **** up over season tickets is anything to go by they'll **** this up as well, so it remains to be seen what actually happens with it.

I suspect that, as an incentive, unless season ticket hokders rack up enough points, they won't be allowed in on match days
