Nah not really, how sweet would that be tho! I would be legend! I is sourcing the raw datas from FIFA12 you know when you say what club you support at the beginning then I is using my maths skills to make percentages.

Flaw with this i spose is you is mainly surveying younger fans, probably why Liverpool is falling away and stuff!

Good thinking batman! Be interesting to adjust for league position at outset of season (i.e. filter out the plastics) - our support would look even more impressive then!

Why describe Swansea as gloryhuntingwelshscum? As a Welsh Saints fan I find such stupid comments offensive. Grow up.

I is calling them glory hunting cos I is insinuating they is suddenly crawling out the woodwork now they're prem, I is calling them Welsh cos they is Welsh, and I is calling them scum cos I am pretending to hate them for having more fans than us!

Sorry if it bummed you out though, I'm not really hating on the Welsh!

so the control group is a small selection of football fans, who own Fifa 12... not really reliable,

Feel free to phone up more than 2,389,299 football fans and come back with the results sweet cheeks!

I'd say it's pretty decent for a control group, sample of over 2m with no region bias, only issue is age bias. Most 'surveys' in papers etc are far worse than that! I appreciate your efforts bearsy!

Percentages probably mean percentage of the 2m..?

Might be because I'm on Tapatalk but all I can see is Man U top with 125.63%. Then Arsenal second with 220.50%. Saints are 180.40%.

On my planet those numbers don't mean jack.

Here are Stoke City's attendances for the first half dozen or so games of the 06/07 season when they were a regular c/ship team.

If there's one team who's fans get more credit than they deserve, who infuriate me probably even more than Pompey, its bloody Stoke and this nonsense about their johnny-come-lately "fans" playing a part in the fact that an away day against a team of hoofball, time-wasting, cynical bullies is a tough fixture. No ****ing way are they ahead of us in numbers and in terms of proper, loyal supporters.

Do you think this informations might be useful for Cortese? He can look and see if there are clubs with smaller fanbases what gets more than 32K attendances. He will then know if we is needing bigger stadiums!

I will send him pm's!

I'd definitely say that the neutrals were inflating the big teams a bit, but not to the extent that it would alter the standings in that table.

Can't see too many neutrals picking the less glamorous teams though.

Ta for the Stoke attendances, Rasiak - very amusing and just shows what a bit of success can do to a club's fortunes.

Dat's what I was thinking when I saw that Chelsea had more than 3 times as many fans as Spurs. I'm pretty sure it was never that way before abramoviches!

Yeah, but it must be tough for glory hunters. Do they know shame? If they do, you'd think they'd have to move house every time they switched allegiance to avoid embarrassing questions. "I thought you supported Blackburn, innit?", etc, etc.

However, they may not know shame.

Hahaha "However, they may not know shame" is looools!

I think the authrities should take steps to stamp out these abuses! I'm saying that at a certain age like 10 or whatever everybody has to state their allegiences and they is having a permanent tattoo of the club's crest emblazened on their forehead. I will pm the fa and let you know what they is saying!

You know it was sweet of you to let me off but when i read it back just now i'm thinking you is right the first time, my defence of saying "well they is Welsh" is no better than JT saying "well he is black". I'm gonna edit my post! They is now just gonna be Scum!

lol @ Wigan #41

Not surprising. Wiganers refer to a cutway as a "gennel", they have little need of the word "the" and any spherical ball-based game will take generations to assimilate in a town full of egg-chasers.

I actually quite like Wiganers :D
