Going round work, and as that is Bloomfield Road there may be some credence, that we have bid £1M for Martinez. Anything heard at that end ?

I like this message on their board:

"One player we need to keep. Shows how far he has come that prem clubs are after him" Makes me feel good.

No idea about Martinez, I'm sure if we are after him that he is what is needed, but would be more excited if we were in for Ince. No reason we couldn't get both though.

He's one player that impressed me massively at the back end of last season, came out of no where really and wasn't really heard of. I saw a fair bit of Blackpool on TV at the back end of the season, and he was always available to receive the ball and always successfully passed it forward to a team mate. He seemed to have a decent switch of play on him, good movement off the ball and an ability to find space. He ran the show when we played them at their place.

Wouldn't say no to having a player like him in the squad, a pretty cultured midfielder.

I have to say I don't recall him, too busy putting head in hands at our own display up there probably, but he sounds decent.
