Saint Garrett Posted 2 July, 2012 Share Posted 2 July, 2012 LOL!!! http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/power-is-with-pompey-fans-1-4010159 Npower have pledged to validate Fanpower Stadium voting after Southampton fans attempted to influence the result. Pompey supporters have reacted with anger after the proposal for a statue became the favourite ahead of today’s midnight closing date. Fans have been voting for one of three choices on offer as they look to spend the £30,000 won by Blues followers in the npower competition. These include free tickets to local schools for matches, improved disabled facilities at Fratton Park or a statue in honour of the fans. The statue idea – involving fans drawing up a design to provide a lasting testimony to their support – has been the long-time leader. Although it has since emerged a large number of Southampton supporters have been casting their votes via Facebook. The sheer numbers pledged by non-Pompey fans have persuaded npower to step in. They have now promised to validate the final totals – discounting the selections of rival fans – once voting has closed. In addition, as well as being able to vote via Facebook, the Fratton faithful can also send their choice direct to the club, who will then pass on the results. Other choices include the distribution of free match-day tickets to local schools through the Pompey Sports & Education Foundation. That would benefit youngsters who rarely get the chance to watch Pompey, with seats in the Milton end available for the home match against Oldham on September 1. The third option is the construction of a disabled spectating platform and disabled toilet at the corner of the South Stand and Milton end. This would be used by away disabled supporters, and, if space, home disabled supporters. In addition, moving away disabled supporters to this area would free up extra disabled spaces for home fans in front of the Fratton end. To vote through Pompey, supporters need to send their name, client reference and choice (option 1, option 2 or option 3) to social@pompeyfc.co.uk by 11pm today. The Kraken Posted 2 July, 2012 Share Posted 2 July, 2012 F*ck me, they're making an awfully big deal about it. If the statue was such a poor idea and they don't want it hijacked, why have it as an option from the club in the first place? And there's enough gormless idiots on their message boards saying that the statue is the best of the options available. Just give the money to the charities you've robbed and be done with it. A statute of TCWTB would show for future generations what the degenerates of that town were like and what inbreeding does to you.

When they do eventually go pop we can then Demolish Krap Not Arf and place it where the centre circle was with a plaque telling them what their evil ways did to there once proud football club. Sounds like a plan.

Wes Tender Posted 2 July, 2012 Share Posted 2 July, 2012 A statute of TCWTB would show for future generations what the degenerates of that town were like and what inbreeding does to you. Trouble is, TCWTB was born in Liss and works at Petersfield, where the gene pool is not quite as restricted. But looking at the moronic idiot, it was an understandable conclusion that you reached.
