A new look for St Mary's this season with some more large photos...

This one is particularly interesting. Academy player James Ward-Prowse, born in Portsmouth, a former season ticket holder at Fratton Park, now converted and a large photo of him on our stadium kissing our badge...

Will the Portsmouth News run a story about Ward-Prowse if he plays for England like they did with Oxlade-Chamberlain? ;)

Ooh. I loathe all that vacuous branding nonsense. Why couldnt they just put some good pictures of the players up without the badge kissing, moody faced carp?

Its supposed to build affinity but it just turns me off, making my club look like another company trying to sell me something (yes I know they are really but...)

Part of me feels quite bad about the last one - I mean his dad took him to games at Fratton Park and he was a season ticket holder - but part of me thinks how some of their fans would ****ing lose it seeing that photo and it makes me smile. Nice hoardings :-)

Better or worse than bare corrugated metal? At least it gives more club identity to the stadium.

Im all for giving the stadium an identity, but they could easily put great pics up of players and great goals and moments from the ancient and recent history - as has been done in the concourse.

Le Tissier chipping Schmeichal or Rickie with a mouth like a cats arse? End of Season pitch invasion with Hooiveld held aloft by the crowd, or JWP kissing some plastic? Tricky.

I had a laugh at this one too. I do wonder if he chose this pose or if he was told to do it. Either way it will make some skates blood boil if they see it haha. It works both ways though. When I was a kid, one of my friends at the time and I were both Saints fans. He was quite a good footballer and got taken on with pompey. After a while he was going on about how great pompey were. We stopped being friends soon after :)

We have some right miserable buggers as fans, I think they look great.

Agree, luckily 99% of Saints fans I've met don't share the views or mindset of 99% of this forum's members!

The workmen at the stadium currently putting them up.

Are they putting more up? If so, who? Are you going to stay around and take more photos for us? You have a duty to this forum, I trust you'll fulfil it. All hail MLG.

I wonder what tomorrow's moan-a-thon will be about

I notice your avatar is a pic of a great moment of Saints history. Not one of a nylon shirt and crap message. How disloyal.

I didn't take the photo's, but I have been to St Mary's today.

I would like to meet MLG in real life - how can i do that?

Write to your local MP.

It's brilliant. Everything we do is brilliant. These signs mean we mean business. The whole nation will be talking about Saints now.

Yes, but the important point is will the white frames have red pin stripes? Very important that.

There should be one with an assortment of Saintsweb posters with the caption: "For the sake of complaining".

It's been a really negative close season on here, even after the triumphant last two years. God knows what this forum's going to be like when we actually start playing football. Against the big guys.

The serial moaners have lost all credibility after the nonsense they've spouted over the past 2/3 seasons.

The obese depressive from Austria will be having a wa.nkfest as soon as we get our 1st dicking.

God forbid if they haven't made a XXXXXXXXXXXXL size home shirt, he'll go into meltdown.

Not like delldays to mention Saints fans moaning. Seriously, I've seen you post it on about 4 different occasions this week alone. WE GET IT.

EDIT : Oops, there's another whinge about it in this thread, make that 5.

I like stadium decorations, it livens the place up. I heard Tottenham are installing Gazza shaped urinals, so that when you do a wee, it looks like the dentist chair celebration.
