New purchase Season Tickets

Just booked on line but didn't get email confirmation nor confirmation booking number/reference just a word " Success"

Also found the graphical seating plan completely confusing and cannot figure out if Row LL is mid height on the terrace or in the gods.

NN is high as it goes.

How often do you go to St Mary's? You should go how the seating numbers work..

Over on TUI a couple of people are claiming to have finally completed the transaction online for a new season ticket and have only been charged the renewal price....

Shush. :) Not sure what will happen if this is a mistake. Can they claim the higher amount later?

I added two new STs on my existing log on at the renewal price also.

I think they can ask for more money or refund the sale. There was a case a while back where a large retailer advertised a tv for sale but got the price wrong making it a bargain. They initially withdrew the sale (it was online) and were going to recredit everyone but in the end honoured the discount price as a goodwill gesture.

Yep, a retailer isn't legally bound to honour an erroneous lower price if due to a genuine error

Had a season ticket in years 2003 - 2005 if that's an issue for you. The reason I stated I was confused by the graphical presentation of the seating plan was based upon my experience of buying ad hoc tickets over the last few seasons when work permitted. I thought the highest row in the Kingsland/ Northam Wing was KK however the seating plan would seem to suggest a revision of the rows.

Is anyone being offered the opportunity to pay in installments online? All I'm being directed to is a page to pay the entire sum up front, which I'm not doing as I'd be bankrupt within 24 hours.

No, have the same issue. Don't have time to call during the day and can't book online as there's no instalment option. Ridiculous really.

No, the rows still go from A at the bottom to LL at the top. Just for some reason the website puts them in alphabetical order so that every double letter is shown as directly below the single one.

Exactly the same with me, in fact I'm working 8-7 for the next 2 weeks, so I'm not going to get the chance to phone (and it's not like a quick 1 min phone call either)./

I'm pretty sure people who renewed online said they had the option to pay in installments, so I'd be interested to see how/where that was, i.e do you enter your payment details, click order...and then it asks? Which is pretty horrific if true.

Apologies, I've got in now and seen that's the case. Very confusing.

Apologies that I cannot meet the Uber Fan criteria seemingly advocated by some on here but I'm guessing my money will be as good as any other.

No need to apologise. But I think you should know JCLs, like yourselves, money is worth less than that of real fans. That why you have to pay more. Can I also suggest you upgrade to full membership, get an avatar with a picture of your favourite player or method of support and increase your post count to at least 5,000 before the season starts if you want to be taken seriously around here.

30min lunch break give or take, getting shed loads of overtime though so can't complain.

Will have to see what I can do though, there will be a way!

I've got plenty of time on my hands this week so can pop down and get it for you if you like. All I need are your bank details and credit card number........

I certainly don't want to be the one to find out.

I tried to pay using a debit card on the website, in my account there is enough for the first instalment but not enough for the whole amount, and it wouldn't let me do it so I am assuming it is only the full payment upfront on the website.

What a shambles.

Disappointing and seems very symptomatic of a pretty shoddy approach to customer relations/marketing.

The sad thing is that its so predictable and highlights a consistent problem within the ticket office. Why are the club so bad at this?

I paid for my renewal at the right price and now I find that new ST people are getting the same rate !

I'm about to complain to Mr Cortese that I'm paying too much and can I get a discount ??

(Nah, don't worry, I'm pleased for you all, good luck and hope it sticks!!)

If its any help to others, I got through on the 01271 number this morning and sorted tickets.

Took about 5 attempts of getting the engaged tone, and was then on hold for 10 mins, but did eventually get through and all sorted!

What a mess, but keep the faith!

Does anyone know if block 3 is sold out? The website seems to say it is but that can't be right..

The website is still playing up and was showing the one block I want as sold out yesterday. Can't be right. Now I can't even get on to the seating plan to buy one now, and all the f*cing phone lines are busy and I've been trying since the lines supposedly opened this morning. Fast thinking I can't be arsed to bother any longer.

On the website for block 3, why the f*ck does it say 'ticket office hold' for every seat? It doesn't say that for anywhere else in the ground. Can't mean it's sold out.. What are the club doing...?

I tried to get one yesterday as that's where my mates who renewed, moved their seats to. When I called I was told that there were no seats available in Block 3 as they have been reserved by the club, for players and staff. I then booked my ticket in block 2 on my todd and my mate has since somehow got a seat in Block 3 for his missus. f*cking furious! :x

Yeah agree that 01271 number is best. However, they are not sending seasons tickets out (as things stand). So seeing as I live 100 miles away, I will add this to my list of moans over the past 24 hours.

On the plus side, my sons new home kit has arrived after only ordering on Saturday afternoon.

Concession tickets need to be picked up so you can prove that you are eligible for the reduced price. Bit of a fag if you don't live near Southampton, unless you can do it on the first home game of the season.

Unless they do ID checks on the turnstiles for each and every game, then ID checks at purchase are pointless and futile gestures.

Probably done just to try and stop the lazy opportunist. Your more dedicated jibber will already have a young child, stolen from a family member in place, ready to pick up their ticket and then hand over for them to use freely.

Not really. The new turnstiles supposedly have an alert system for when a concession ticket goes through; plus they're supervised by stewards who can visibly check who has just come through the turnstile, and whether they seem obviously not to be a "concession".

I know someone that has paid his nephew a score to get two mates to russle up birth certificates (13 year olds) and meet him at St Marys next week to get half price STs. He's gambling the scanners will be ignored by the £6 an hour stewerds in the same way they ignored tickets.

Meanwhile I'm paying £600, but I doff my cap to any man up for a jib!

Up the Jibbers!
