I managed on attempt 100+ to get the music to play - for around 15 mins before it said all staff were busy so try again later ... and cut me off.

And the website has lost friends and family as well as only giving you the opportunity to renew a non-existent season ticket.

Has anyone found the option to purchase 2 new season tickets on the website? It's well hidden!

F*cking shambles as usual. Didn't expect anything less though.

 

that is kind of the point mate, we knew it would happen so that makes it worse really, i said earlier, bet it won't be a smooth process and something will go wrong, they are known for their cock ups!

You'd have thought with all the new changes to the kit, stadium, season ticket cards, club shop etc they'd be able to sort out a decent ticket system. Especially seeing as it's us handing over large chunks of money to them..

it's not working mate.

another thing i notice is the recorded message for normal ticket purchases it says £1.50 per ticket booking fee online, and £2.50 PER TICKET booking fee on the phone, what an absolute joke rip off for the shlt service they provide.

 

 

guess only when people refuse to pay it will things change.

All tickets and moves sorted and they even waived the parking charges at St Marys due to the extended wait while the system was down, least they could do as some people were ready to mutiny.

A couple of friends trying to buy new tickets online for the first time are ranting at the shambles

 

I have apologised to them unreservedly for the fact that modern technology is unable to cope with the ludicrously high demand from half the planet to watch The Premier League's best club for the coming season :)

Agree with the posters that have recommended the 01271 335708 number.

You will constantly get an engaged tone but just retry and retry and eventually you will get through

Well, this hasn't gone very well has it.

 

Expected the new ticketing system to eliminate all past issue, in fact this actually seems worse.

All the options to login, manage your account etc, aren't there.

 

Therefore it's a pretty splash page which you cannot do anything with.

just got through on the 01271 number, what a f8cking joke this club is, they insisted the £2.50 phone booking fee would be applied, i pointed out there was NO option of going to the stadium, the site HAS NOT WORKED ALL DAY, so that is a unavoidable charge , no offer to waive it, just if you don't like it don't buy now and wait for the site to be fixed!!!!!!! bunch of c*nts.

No success for me on the phone (any number), but managed to get online and add a seat to basket next to my mate (result), only to get to checkout and no instalment option available! Argh! Back to the hold music for me!

Over on TUI a couple of people are claiming to have finally completed the transaction online for a new season ticket and have only been charged the renewal price....

Yeah when I was going through the website it seemed to be only charging the renewal price for me as well, shame I couldn't capitalise!

 

Having a right mare here, finally get through to card payment on the phone and it's declined. I then find out my bank's fraud department have blocked my card for 'suspicious activity'.

 

Back to square one, on hold for the ticket hotline...

When I did my renewal I got a confirmation email. My dad ordered new tickets an hour ago online and didn't get an email, the order appears in his account history. Has anyone that got tickets today received an email confirmation?

When I get on to the ticket page and click to buy the season ticket, I get some sort of error page. Says this at the top - [Notice] Undefined property: stdClass::$AvailableProduct

 

F*ck knows what's going on. Shouldn't be such a painful procedure really..

I've long maintained that our ticket office now isn't a patch on the finely tuned operation under Lowe. For all his faults he always got it right when it came to selling tickets. Todays operation is quite frankly a shambles and you have to pay to use it!

It has been markedly worse since David Luker departed. The new online system is no improvement on the last one i.e. it doesn't work properly either.

I think you are right, it is currently a huge mess and is losing the club money and customer confidence.

Logged on to the system using someone else's login, and it says block 3 is sold out? That can't be right.. If it is then it's a f*cking joke because I've spent the whole day trying to call and login on the site.

Just booked on line but didn't get email confirmation nor confirmation booking number/reference just a word " Success"

Also found the graphical seating plan completely confusing and cannot figure out if Row LL is mid height on the terrace or in the gods.

Just got 3 seats in Block 10, Row U in the Itchen...it looks like a LOT have been sold today, based on the availability charts in the system. No confirmation email yet, but all 3 purchases are showing in my Transaction History

 

What will be amusing to see is how it allocates the tickets to the 3 linked records I set up earlier in the week - as it didn't ask me to do that when I bought the tickets. Who knows, I may "personally" end up with 3 seats from August...

 

A colossal faff all round really, but at least it's done now :D
