New purchase Season Tickets

It's getting very close to Monday's general sale for new purchases but no info yet on the official website apart from that it commences at 12 noon. I would imagine the phone lines will be chaotic which leaves the on line method. For renewals its a question of quoting previous season ticket number for the customer number and date of birth for password. But at the moment it is not clear what new buyers enter for the customer number and also how difficult it will be buying two seats together. (both pre registered) Hope all will be revealed tomorrow or Monday morning!!!!

Been waiting for news on this, i had a look at the online booking system, much better then previous one, but no info as of yet, i think to be honest we wont sell out of STs as long as you go down some time next week your most likely sit in the section you wish too as well, 22k max ST holders this season.

Do you have to have registered online already to buy one? I did but my mate didn't. Hoping we can phone up and book them together regardless?

I thought I read somewhere that you need to 'update your contact details' which I have done but cannot be sure about that. No doubt when info comes onto official website all will be revealed. Most probably they can update your details when you phone.May not be able to book online if you haven't pre registered. Were you registered last season?

My friend and I are hoping to buy STs on Monday sitting next to each other but with separate phone calls and card details. Apprehensive to say the least!

similar situation to myself and a friend. is it possible to order 2 season tickets online in the same order but in both of our namrs

Anyone know if concession purchases can be done online or via the phone?

I think it depends if you're already on the system from before, and what type of concession. If it's student, they'll want you to go in person to show your card. If it's an age concession and your D.O.B is already verified on the system you should be okay, if not again I'd imagine they'll want to see ID in person.

Unfortunately I'm not yet on the system, and I was looking for a student concession, but I'm not sure if they'll sell the ticket without me going in (which would be a problem because I'm abroad for a reasonable amount of time right now) in the next couple of days or so.

I imagine I'll just have to buy the normal one.

Yeah, pretty sure they'll want to see a student ID in person I'm afraid. Worth a try nevertheless.

As a trial run, I went into the new online site this morning and got in using last year's username and date of birth ie 01011980. I think you have to have updated your contact details previously though otherwise you may have to phone. There is a box asking whether you are also booking for a second person and asking for their username. They also would have to have updated contact details.

Not Saints fault, they are using tickets.com

it never is there fault is it.

last year they were sending out books with the wrong tickets in them.

if they are going to charge a fortune for the product they should provide the service level to go with it

Well you could say it is "their fault" for choosing tickets.com, but they should in theory have been a good choice.

i wouldn't be bothered as i am sure there is far more supply than demand, but want to get a specific seat, annoying. no doubt they'll put a typical story on the official site about great rush for tickets on day one.

Yeah, I hate it when they make those stories up instead of telling us the truth about not wanting to sell season tickets. Sooooo obvious.

they should put up a message apologising for not being able to provide a decent service.

When we renewed our tickets,I was told on line or in person at the ticket office, i.e you couldn't talk to anyone which is very unhelpful when you have a query or need help ,may be the same for you.

Ticket office isn't open for new ST sales. It's just phone or online at the moment.

This is an absolute embarrassment. In short, on the day of season ticket release - no one can buy tickets.

Soon to be on The Apprentice: You're Fired! - the saints IT and sales departments. Absolute Morons. There is not even an on-line statement indicating there is a problem but they expect the fans to keep trying for tickets regardless. Another own goal in the great saga that is "the Southampton way"

I reckon that even the understaffed and stricken club down the road have managed to sell tickets on the release day :(

The ticket booking line is 02381780780 and it does have a queue system.

once you select the option to "speak to an operator" it just cuts off. waste of a lunchbreak trying to get that done, will now have to try later on today

yeh, sorry you're right. That's because you need to hit the 'buy' option instead and then you'll get to speak to an operator anyway. And there is a queue for that bit!
