SO16_Saint Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 Why is it men can't be ill? I've had aches, headache, runny nose - generally feeling not great and hot / cold and sweaty for about 2 days now. The Mrs just keeps saying oh its only man flu, get over it. You're not getting any sympathy here. That's the stock answer from most women, I find. But when women are ill, its the end of the world and everything stops. Really f*cks me off. Panda Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 Sadly, its a fact of life Bridgey. Wives get quite angry with husbands who get ill, it is just another one of our failings. Who visits the doctor most in your family?

Not my misses she carries on until she makes herself really ill for a week...when taking a couple of days to get over it at the start of her illness would have allowed her to get over it much quicker. Apparently admitting to being ill is some kind of weakness..
