trousers Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 I could be missing something obvious (for once) but just went to book a couple of tickets online for one of the pre-season friendlies and it allows you to select a stand but not a block within the stand. And it doesn't show what seats its allocated to you when you go to pay either. Is this the way that pre-season tickets are being sold (i.e. no seat allocation) or is there something up with the online system? Just wanted to make an arse of myself on here first before making an arse of myself on the phone to the ticket office later....
kwsaint Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 happened to me as well so am assuming that there doing it so they can put everyone in the same place rather than have them scattered around the stadium.
Saint Garrett Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 Would have thought that it's just unallocated seating.

thornhill_saints Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 Would have thought that it's just unallocated seating. I booked the same seat as my season ticket (Northam), so doubt if it will unallocated seating, as they are expecting a full house due to the olympic torch being paraded. Hah, surely not, seeing as it's completely freely available everywhere else in the country for 70 days, including outside the stadium immediately before and immediately after ? The scrambling to reduce prices and package up matches says they're expecting a few thousand at most, and are desperate to sell tickets. How did you manage to book your exact seat then ? Maybe they've changed the system since ?

How did you manage that ?? I was told the seat would be "allocated" AFTER I had paid for it ??
buctootim Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 How did you manage that ?? I was told the seat would be "allocated" AFTER I had paid for it ?? Its going to be like Ryanair to Malaga. A stampede across the concourse followed by catfights for ther best seat.
derry Posted 29 June, 2012 Share Posted 29 June, 2012 Unless the ticket is bought at the ticket office and a specific seat is requested all seats are allocated. It is not unreserved seating. I was told by the ticket line it was unreserved seating, ordered online and received an allocated reserved seat, so I went into the ticket office and swopped them for my end of row ST seat.
