Errrr...........over 3 million !

Including £800K they owed to Hearts for Wallace. Gone forever but somehow he keeps playing for Rangers. Funnier still is the million or so they owed to Rapid Vienna for Jelavic which they'll never get. However, Rangers are still insisting that Everton pay them the FULL amount for that subsequent transfer !

Yeah, not significant in relation to the tax debt though, they wouldn't have been liquidated for a piddling £3m and could have covered that with the takeover, it was the HMRC debt that did for them.

Also sounds like Portsmouth with the Begovic transfer to Spurs (give us a million and we'll sell him to Stoke) and Muntari, who they defaulted on payments to Udinese for, and even after they'd sold him, never passed on a penny of the massive profit from flogging him on to Internazionale to the team they'd bought him from.

Imho, this is a case of Rangers (and Celtic) sh1tt1ng all over the other teams in Scotland re TV moneys. Fans have long memorys, and Rangers have lorded it over Scottish football for a long time, now the chickens have come home to roost! Man United would get the same kicking down here.

Like Wales is you mean ? With their top 2 teams in the English Premier League and Championship ? It's the EXACT same situation as Scotland, with the exception of Scotland's league being much more established.

And we will see how many Scottish players are in the Olympic squad - just because the SFA are paranoid doesn't mean Scottish players won't be involved (other than on ability of course).

Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham were in the Football League before FIFA and the last war. It would not happen now. The individual players can do what they like. Rangers won't be accepted by the clubs who would be daft to vote them in. In any event they aren't even a member club of the pyramid. A club would have to drop out or be denied promotion for Rangers to get in the League and would also deny a promotion place and eventually a Premier place to an English club. It won't happen.

Wrexham have not been in the FL for a few years now, Newport are a new club formed in 1989, neither has ever been told they won't be permitted to join the FL.

I would think any club already in the pyramid could have grandfather rights. A club not already in the pyramid in England would probably have to play in England. Rangers due to their liquidation, police investigation, HMRC court case, no football creditor protection would as a newco be unwelcome. It won't happen it would be like turkey's voting for Christmas to let them in. Whatever they could do, the English clubs make the decision not the authorities.

If Man U were found to be cheating the same way, would the English FA try every trick in the book to minimise the fall out & sneak Utd back via the Championship ? And threaten all the other Clubs in the process ? Because this is what their Scottish equivalent are trying to do now. Fortunately the average Scots football fan has quite rightly said....F*** Off ! But will that be enough ?

I'm sure it is a mere coincidence that Campbell Ogilvie, former RANGERS Director, is currently President of the SFA...................
