The impression I got was that Büttner was a bit deceitful by bringing up the third party issue almost at the point of singing contracts. I would have thought in NCs eyes that makes him history, completely. Hence my comment about desperation.

Clearly comes with a bit of baggage but the lad looks a decent player and perhaps we can pick up a bargain. Besides, we need a mental player and particularly at left back, since Mark Dennis there's just been Benali and Colleter. That's not good enough. Fair play to NA and NC for identifying the loony left back position when many were just thinking centre back.

Alpine you state our transfer budget is limited! how do you know that? Do you think Adkins/Cortese are not intelligent enough to know which positions to fill and how to use their budget sensibly in order to do that?
