GenevaSaint Posted 26 June, 2012 Share Posted 26 June, 2012 Disgusting. We should want nothing to do with that vile club. I despair of people like you. There's nothing wrong with the club, it's a minority of fans.
Stevie B Posted 26 June, 2012 Share Posted 26 June, 2012 I despair of people like you. There's nothing wrong with the club, it's a minority of fans. I think you should have a look at the history of Celtic then if you think there is nothing wrong with the club itself

Saint137 Posted 26 June, 2012 Share Posted 26 June, 2012 Personally I'm enjoying the fact that Rangers have been killed by Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs. Kind of ironic.
alki_in_korea Posted 26 June, 2012 Share Posted 26 June, 2012 (edited) One thing to remember when thinking about if celtic is a nice club or not, is there is the right way to run an academy and then there is the wrong way. I do believe before they had quite a few youngsters treated like choir boys. Edited 26 June, 2012 by alki_in_korea

Fan The Flames Posted 27 June, 2012 Share Posted 27 June, 2012 So it's not a Saints badge but a Celtic Supporters Club based in Southampton named after too Celtic players from the 80's, one who only appeared for Celtic reserves. I guess 89/90 was the year the supporters club was formed.

SFC Chris Posted 27 June, 2012 Share Posted 27 June, 2012 One thing to remember when thinking about if celtic is a nice club or not, is there is the right way to run an academy and then there is the wrong way. I do believe before they had quite a few youngsters treated like choir boys. Celtic is a great club and has done much for both football and the worldwide community throughout the years. Jim Torbett and the Kellys will rot in hell for their actions but you should not hold this against the club it is now or was before. If such a story broke about the same thing going on at Southampton back in the 60s I very much doubt you would walk away from the club now. Fan The Flames Posted 27 June, 2012 Share Posted 27 June, 2012 Yes there is. Do some research pal... I think 'is' is the important word in Geneva's statement. If we want to rake over stuff from the past then no one comes out of it very well.

Turkish Posted 27 June, 2012 Share Posted 27 June, 2012 Indeed. Anybody remember Bob Higgins? I do. He used to live just round the corner from me when we were kids. Came to our school a few times with Danny Wallace who also lived nearby. Unreal really, an England international and top flight player living in a 3 bed house in Midanbury! Dr Who? Posted 27 June, 2012 Share Posted 27 June, 2012 I like Celtic, and prefer them over Rangers, but Dundee U are my favourite Scottish team as I went up to Dundee to watch them play Aberdeen when I was 17. Just decided to go up for the day and back again. Madness. Might try and win that bid. 89/90 has nothing to do with Saints and Celtic.... Odd!
