miserableoldgit Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 It has never been funny. Even the thicko that is Tim Henman thinks that is retarded. I would suggest that Tim Henman is not particularly thick, just not a particularly good tennis player.
bridge too far Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 I would suggest that Tim Henman is not particularly thick, just not a particularly good tennis player. Although being ranked no. 4 in the world in 2002 would suggest otherwise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Henman
Jillyanne Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Although being ranked no. 4 in the world in 2002 would suggest otherwise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Henman like!
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 ...and there it is. The infamous Murray choke.- Over in 4 sets now.
sambosa75 Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 I think Murray's fitness level is higher than Federer's. Without a doubt.
Verbal Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 ...and there it is. The infamous Murray choke.- Over in 4 sets now. I'm not able to watch the tennis. The only indication that he's now on a poor run is the sight of your username on against the thread title.
sambosa75 Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 ...and there it is. The infamous Murray choke.- Over in 4 sets now. Clueless.
JackFrost Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 ...and there it is. The infamous Murray choke.- Over in 4 sets now. Are you ITK?
miserableoldgit Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Although being ranked no. 4 in the world in 2002 would suggest otherwise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Henman Yes you are right. Just trying to indicate that he isn`t particularly thick.
S-Clarke Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 ...and there it is. The infamous Murray choke.- Over in 4 sets now. Do you support anyone, or anything, ever?
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Do you support anyone, or anything, ever? you seem to have a problem distinguishing "support" with "honest opinion" Since when did supporting someone mean lying about their prospects ?
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 you seem to have a problem distinguishing "support" with "honest opinion" Since when did supporting someone mean lying about their prospects ? I don't like Murray and even I can see he still has a decent chance here.
Thedelldays Posted 8 July, 2012 Author Posted 8 July, 2012 you seem to have a problem distinguishing "support" with "honest opinion" Since when did supporting someone mean lying about their prospects ? you would thought, over the years, you would have learned to keep your thoughts on future sporting "prospects" to yourself you have a horrific knack of being very wide of the mark
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 you would thought, over the years, you would have learned to keep your thoughts on future sporting "prospects" to yourself you have a horrific knack of being very wide of the mark Of course I do, Mr. Kipling.
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 I don't like Murray and even I can see he still has a decent chance here. The only chance he has is if the rain disruption has allowed him to recompose himself. If there had been no rain interruption and they had played through, Federer would have mullah'd him.
Verbal Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 If there had been no rain interruption and they had played through, Federer would have mullah'd him. Federer is an Imam? An on-court conversion would be a first, admittedly.
Barry the Badger Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 The only chance he has is if the rain disruption has allowed him to recompose himself. If there had been no rain interruption and they had played through, Federer would have mullah'd him. I don't think so, although Federer had the momentum at that time, it can easily switch around without the need for a break, Murray would've come back into it without the break.
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 2-4 in 3rd. Service broken. Looking all one-way now. 4th set will be 1-6 or 2-6
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 2-4 in 3rd. Service broken. Looking all one-way now. 4th set will be 1-6 or 2-6 Long way to go yet before I start gloating.
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Long way to go yet before I start gloating. Not so long. Murray broken again. This will be over in 30mins. Murrayhad his chance in the 2nd set and blew it.
dubai_phil Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Oi. Alps STFU. I got in first with the Jock's gonna lose tactics
Saintandy666 Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Whatever happens now, Murray has had a fantastic tournament.
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Honestly think this is all over now, shame. Not a shame if that is the case (as I said though still some way to go.) Federer is a legend. Murray will continue to be a loser and a heroic runner up.
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Whatever happens now, Murray has had a fantastic tournament. If he loses that is totally irrelevant.
Jillyanne Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Whatever happens now, Murray has had a fantastic tournament. At last some positivity (sp)!!!
Barry the Badger Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Whatever happens now, Murray has had a fantastic tournament. Not sure he would feel that way, not like he would have beaten any of the 3 guys ranked above him.
Jillyanne Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 If he loses that is totally irrelevant. Is it B o l l o c k s he is improving his game and getting physically stronger every year.
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Murray will continue to be a loser and a heroic runner up. This. He's achieved no more with his career than that previous loser Henman.
Thedelldays Posted 8 July, 2012 Author Posted 8 July, 2012 This. He's achieved no more with his career than that previous loser Henman. that is not true to be fair
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Muarry's serve is too inconsistent. Yep. 50% first serve in 3rd set. P*ss-poor for this level.
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Is it B o l l o c k s he is improving his game and getting physically stronger every year. Winning a grand slam is what matters. Do you think that Federer calls it a good tournament if he loses a grand slam final? Of course not, he calls it a disastrous tournament because the man is a winner. When Murray won the semi everyone acted as if he had won the tournament already. He hadn't.

hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 This. He's achieved no more with his career than that previous loser Henman. Nope he achieved more than Henman. That doesn't really matter though. If he continues to fail to win a grand slam then he will continue to be thought of as a loser. Quite right too.

Yep, only the British do this cricket match gallant loser b*ll*cks.
Barry the Badger Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Well he has two games in this set already, so does that mean Federer is winning the next 5 Alps?
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 again, to be fair, murray never either..he said that he has won nothing yet its the british sport fan that loves a gallant loser...we need to change as much as the next person. Good, Murray recognises that he himself is a loser and knows what he has to do in order to rid himself of that title. Maybe I will like him a bit more.
Turkish Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Yep, only the British do this cricket match gallant loser b*ll*cks. I love it how all the Murray fans bang on about if he'd played in a different era he's have won loads. Utter ******.
alpine_saint Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 I love it how all the Murray fans bang on about if he'd played in a different era he's have won loads. Utter ******. I agree. He'd still conspire to f**k it up.
Turkish Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Brilliant from Federer, brilliant. That is an amazing player. Game over.
Thedelldays Posted 8 July, 2012 Author Posted 8 July, 2012 Good, Murray recognises that he himself is a loser and knows what he has to do in order to rid himself of that title. Maybe I will like him a bit more. I don't think he has ever celebrated the fact he gets to semi finals he said the other day when interviews about what he is feeling when true crowd celebrated when he reached the final his response was "i don't care"
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Brilliant from Federer, brilliant. That is an amazing player. Game over. Some of his shots I just laugh at. He is truly the greatest player to have ever picked up a racket.
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 I don't think he has ever celebrated the fact he gets to semi finals he said the other day when interviews about what he is feeling when true crowd celebrated when he reached the final his response was "i don't care" Good I'm glad. Seems that he contradicts his supporters who say how amazing he is and what a fantastic job he has done.
hypochondriac Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Whatever happens now, Murray has had a fantastic tournament. Judging by his comments (that TDD has highlighted and that I was unaware of) it seems that Murray would disagree with you.

Bit like when we won promotion back to the top flight, anyone would have thought we had won the premier league .......................
Turkish Posted 8 July, 2012 Posted 8 July, 2012 Judging by his comments (that TDD has highlighted and that I was unaware of) it seems that Murray would disagree with you. I agree he hasn't really. Got an easy draw after Nadal went out the games hes won are all game he should have won. He's put in a battling performance today but looks like being short again when it matters.
