It has never been funny. Even the thicko that is Tim Henman thinks that is retarded.

I would suggest that Tim Henman is not particularly thick, just not a particularly good tennis player.

...and there it is.

The infamous Murray choke.-

Over in 4 sets now.

I'm not able to watch the tennis. The only indication that he's now on a poor run is the sight of your username on against the thread title.

Do you support anyone, or anything, ever?

you seem to have a problem distinguishing "support" with "honest opinion"

Since when did supporting someone mean lying about their prospects ?

I don't like Murray and even I can see he still has a decent chance here.

you would thought, over the years, you would have learned to keep your thoughts on future sporting "prospects" to yourself

you have a horrific knack of being very wide of the mark

Of course I do, Mr. Kipling.

The only chance he has is if the rain disruption has allowed him to recompose himself.

If there had been no rain interruption and they had played through, Federer would have mullah'd him.

Federer is an Imam? An on-court conversion would be a first, admittedly.

I don't think so, although Federer had the momentum at that time, it can easily switch around without the need for a break, Murray would've come back into it without the break.

Honestly think this is all over now, shame.

Not a shame if that is the case (as I said though still some way to go.) Federer is a legend. Murray will continue to be a loser and a heroic runner up.

Is it B o l l o c k s he is improving his game and getting physically stronger every year.

Winning a grand slam is what matters. Do you think that Federer calls it a good tournament if he loses a grand slam final? Of course not, he calls it a disastrous tournament because the man is a winner. When Murray won the semi everyone acted as if he had won the tournament already. He hadn't.

again, to be fair, murray never either..he said that he has won nothing yet

its the british sport fan that loves a gallant loser...we need to change as much as the next person.

This. He's achieved no more with his career than that previous loser Henman.

Nope he achieved more than Henman. That doesn't really matter though. If he continues to fail to win a grand slam then he will continue to be thought of as a loser. Quite right too.

Good, Murray recognises that he himself is a loser and knows what he has to do in order to rid himself of that title. Maybe I will like him a bit more.

I love it how all the Murray fans bang on about if he'd played in a different era he's have won loads. Utter ******.

I don't think he has ever celebrated the fact he gets to semi finals

he said the other day when interviews about what he is feeling when true crowd celebrated when he reached the final

his response was "i don't care"

Brilliant from Federer, brilliant. That is an amazing player. Game over.

Some of his shots I just laugh at. He is truly the greatest player to have ever picked up a racket.

Good I'm glad. Seems that he contradicts his supporters who say how amazing he is and what a fantastic job he has done.

Whatever happens now, Murray has had a fantastic tournament.

Judging by his comments (that TDD has highlighted and that I was unaware of) it seems that Murray would disagree with you.

Bit like when we won promotion back to the top flight, anyone would have thought we had won the premier league .......................

I agree he hasn't really. Got an easy draw after Nadal went out the games hes won are all game he should have won. He's put in a battling performance today but looks like being short again when it matters.
