I was dumbfounded he didn't go to the Euro U21's tournament last year but then again Pearce is an utter turd who'd probably choose 10 Makelele's before a Messi gets a look in.

Considering he's 24 it would have been difficult to include him in an u21 squad last summer without someone smelling a rat. Still Pearce bashing seems to be in vogue at the moment so lets blame Pearce for Lallana being born 2 or 3 years too early.

Adam was at the Rose / Ageus Bowl yesterday afternoon watching "Southampton" Cricket Club in their T20 game.

He gave a 12 min interview on Radio Solent (1:46:43 to 1:58:12)

• Said he played cricket for Dorset U14 (?) as a Spin bowler / No7 batsman.

Lallana didn't make the final 23 having been named by Pearce in the provisional 35. I think he qualified because he was 21 at the start of the qualifying.
