Whitey Grandad Posted 23 June, 2012 Posted 23 June, 2012 The last series was crap. They changed the format and moved production to somewhere west. Mick Aston left in disgust and I don't blame him. The new presenter Mary-Ann Ochota has also left. They meddled with a much-loved product.

pedg Posted 23 June, 2012 Posted 23 June, 2012 Went to an evening with Tony Robinson thing a few years back and he gave no impression it was an unhappy production. Showed some footage of where someone made a cardboard replica of one of the geophysic things and then ran said replica over in front of the geophysics people as a practical joke. Said there was lots of joking and ****taking going on that does not make the programs.

Seriously though I would think that if everyone was genuinely passionate about what they were doing then it would make for a cheerful working environment.
