Turkish Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 He works hard, that's why. We all forget that working hard is enough. That literally is it. He can't dribble, can't cross, isn't quick, never scores, can't tackle and every pass is about 10 yards.
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 That literally is it. He can't dribble, can't cross, isn't quick, never scores, can't tackle and every pass is about 10 yards. Well he also plays for City, that helps. Work hard and play for the champions. What more do we want?
Turkish Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Well he also plays for City, that helps. Work hard and play for the champions. What more do we want? If only Gareth Barry hadn't got injured.
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 If only Gareth Barry hadn't got injured. That said, I'd rather have Adam Johnson playing right now as opposed to Milner.
Thedelldays Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 milner and glen johnson...oh god such a shame wilshere is injured...
S-Clarke Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 What the jesus does Milner do? Seriously? I don't get it, why is he there? Yarmalanko (Sp) demonstrates exactly what we lack. Someone with pace, ability and skill to beat a player. Unfortunately we've opted for work rate and predictability against someone like Chambo who has those attributes.
S-Clarke Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Lambert would have buried Rooney's header! I'm sure Jay Rodriguez would have to! Lots of pressure on Rooneys shoulders and boy does it show.
Bearsy Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 God them england players **** me off strolling around with them grim expressions on their face like they're all turtle heading or something. I spose they is thinking cos of the Ukraine situation and the crowd they're gonna over commit forwards and we'll slaughter them on the break but it aint happening so far. World's Most Boring Game.

I spose they is thinking cos of the Ukraine situation and the crowd they're gonna over commit forwards and we'll slaughter them on the break but it aint happening so far. World's Most Boring Game. We won't slaughter anyone on the break with Milner on the right side, because as soon as he gets the ball he stops. Looks sideways, backwards, and passes back. Excellent. That's not a wingers job. He's so painfully predicable that you can predict exactly what foot he'll use to control the ball before it's there. He must be a full backs dream to play against.
MOSaint Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Boring half, England's worst performance so far. Milner is useless, runs about like a headless chicken with half the footwork. Theo on please.
Thedelldays Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 you can see ukraines tactics...we defend really well so they are making the pitch as wide as possible in order to find gaps....and they are does not help that we keep giving the ball away
Minsk Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 We look as though we are in a training match. Offering nothing going forward, but defending well as a unit. And if I see another pass back to Hart from the halfway line............
S-Clarke Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 you can see ukraines tactics...we defend really well so they are making the pitch as wide as possible in order to find gaps....and they are does not help that we keep giving the ball away That's why I think someone with real pace could be a game changer for us, as you said Ukraine can't go through the middle of us because we're very solid with 2 banks of 4 - so they have to open up and spread the play, that leaves gaps on the flanks in our favor but we just don't have the players to take advantage of that. Wellbeck has been seriously isolated as well, all this talk about ''Rooney'' linking the play isn't happening.
Bearsy Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 So bbc are showing us top on their website. Is dat cos of our better vvanking?
up and away Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 I'm sure Jay Rodriguez would have to! Lots of pressure on Rooneys shoulders and boy does it show. Rooney has been a major disappointment for a long time in International football, no difference here. Milner has not set the turf alight but that RH side looks a lot more compact than Ashley Cole does isolated at many times.

SO16_Saint Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 S'alright, I'm sure a flare will take care of that when Ukraine score. I wish it would set fire to Milner instead
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 GOAL. Third assist of the tournament for Gerrard, with a decent ball, James Milner take note. I wish it would set fire to Milner instead It's amazing though, all the top journos really rate him. Against Sweden we were told they couldn't handle crosses into the box, so you want a decent crosser. Milner was ****e and he was substituted. How is that any good then?
SO16_Saint Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 I went out at ht and didn't realise the mrs had paused the tv for a minute, so imagine my non surprise when Roooooooney scored!!
Thedelldays Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 to be fair...gerrard has been pretty good this competition
dune Posted 19 June, 2012 Author Posted 19 June, 2012 And with all the slagging Wooney scores!!!!! To be honest i'll never like the commie scouse git. His half hearted (forced) attempt to remember the words to GSTQ didn't fool me.
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 to be fair...gerrard has been pretty good this competition Played in the correct position. Probably has some bearing on it.
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 to be honest i'll never like the commie scouse git. His half hearted (forced) attempt to remember the words to gstq didn't fool me. Typical dune with your mother England approach to everything.
Thedelldays Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Played in the correct position. Probably has some bearing on it. and no lampard
SO16_Saint Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 and no lampard Lampard has been more effective this tournament than in the ones he's actually played in
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 and no lampard Don't buy that. We don't question whether other great players can play together, why say it about Lampard and Gerrard?
Turkish Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Lampard has been more effective this tournament than in the ones he's actually played in so true.
Saintandy666 Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Lampard and Gerrard playing together doesn't work. They are the same player.
Thedelldays Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Don't buy that. We don't question whether other great players can play together, why say it about Lampard and Gerrard? because gerrard never seems to play well with lampard when both in the middle......not saying one is better just saying
Turkish Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Lampard and Gerrard playing together doesn't work. They are the same player. Why not Andy?
Minsk Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 F*cking Milner again. What a sh*t shot that was. I was almost excited until I realised it was Milner that Shrek was passing to.......
SO16_Saint Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Elbow in the ribs, but holding your face? Milner you tool
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 I don't want people to think I'm making Milner a scapegoat but he really hasn't performed at this tournament. I don't think it's unkind to say that.
SO16_Saint Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 I don't want people to think I'm making Milner a scapegoat but he really hasn't performed at this tournament. I don't think it's unkind to say that. I don't think it's unkind to say that my grandad would be more effective than Milner. My grandad died 4 years ago
Turkish Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 I don't want people to think I'm making Milner a scapegoat but he really hasn't performed at this tournament. I don't think it's unkind to say that. It's not unfair. It's the truth, he's been terrible. He's contributed absolutely nothing apart from the miss against France.
sfc4prem Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 Lampard and Gerrard playing together doesn't work. They are the same player. They really aren't the same player. So crude.
Crazy Diamond Posted 19 June, 2012 Posted 19 June, 2012 I don't think it's unkind to say that my grandad would be more effective than Milner. My grandad died 4 years ago I'm sorry for your loss. How the hell didn't that linesman see that was offside? I hope he'd have put his flag up if it had gone in...
