Suhari Posted 15 June, 2012 Posted 15 June, 2012 When did white start to come in as a decent colour on a car? Always used to look ****, but seems cool now. Thinking of getting an A4 S-Line in white

Thinking of getting an A4 S-Line in white White was cool 2 years ago apparently (always looked chavvy to me!) and is definitely losing its coolness by the minute. The new colour of the moment for cars is a bronze/dark brown colour as seen on loads of cars being tested by the various car magazines Range Rover, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Ferrari and even Renault seem to be very keen.
View From The Top Posted 15 June, 2012 Posted 15 June, 2012 I bought a new shape Ibiza Sport in red but as soon as I saw a white one I understood that white could actually look cool as fu.ck. Got a red Saab now though. :-)
Katalinic Posted 15 June, 2012 Posted 15 June, 2012 They became popular about 3 years ago....some cars look great in white, others look like you can't afford metallic paint. Choose carefully.

I've just bought an A6 S Line Avant. The deal was fantastic, and the car was white, with the alternative option being a factory order and 3 month wait. I saw an SE Avant in white and it looked ok, but the S Line with bigger wheels and privacy glass looks fantastic. Having just does an 1100 mile round trip through France, it does keep clean too.
