thats more than just rain - electrical storm. The rain is pretty severe though - wonder if they will push it back to tomorrow.

There's only 1 thunderstorm in the whole of Ukraine at the moment and it's happens to be right over Donnet'sk. I reckon if they give it till 6 it should be clearing up.

I experienced a couple of storms like that this time last year when I was in Ukraine.

 

Cool to watch through the window whilst having a drink, but wouldn't have wanted to play football through it.

There was an evening game at Chelsea that was called off at the last minute. I'd picked my daughter up from Reading, parked the car, bought the programme, we were just getting to our seats when the steward said "you can go in if you like but the game's been called off". I knew it would be, it had been lashing it down and thundering and lightning all the way, just like the match in Donetsk.
