Anyone been?

Your tips and suggestions please.

We went last year.

People are great and very friendly. Beaches aren't as nice as some Greek Islands, prefered Kos to be honest. But we went all inclusive so stayed on the site most of the time. Mrs Duck loved Rhodes Town, but I didn't see the attraction to be honest.

The Greek people and the weather make it a fantastic holiday destination, but the past 2 years we've suffered delays and disruption at air ports and last year there was a taxi drivers strike. We are not going back this year, purely because of that, we were 5 hours sat on the plane last year, due to a strike and twice people left the hotel, only to come back later that night, again because of strike action whilst flying home. Just didn't want to risk hassle this year, as it maybe worse. Dont want to put you off, because it's got to be my fav holiday country.

Me too, then realised it was the lounge and thought he must have been arrested for rape and/or drink driving.

Really? When i realised it was the lounge I thought it would be some incredibly interesting conversation between BTF, Saint Andy and Pap about if the policital landscape in Greece meant Rhodes would now be Turkish (the country, not mine) or something equally as fascinating.

Do you know Dune is a right wing conservative/UKIP and doesnt like people from other countries that don't have the same queen as us?

Stayed in tholos about 10 years ago - was nice at the time. Rhodes town was a nice day out as was lindos. The lindos (south) side of the island is about ten degrees hotter than the north. Lindos regularly get above 40 degrees in high summer so you may wish to avoid at that time.

Party time - head for Falaraki

Give my love to papa ouzo if you bump into him (last seen in afandou)
