jawillwill Posted 12 June, 2012 Posted 12 June, 2012 Why can't registered users edit posts? We should be allowed IMO. C'mon Baj, sort it out.
trousers Posted 12 June, 2012 Posted 12 June, 2012 Pay your fiver, sonny. ^This. What do people take this forum for? Some kind of socialist benevolent fund? Pay yer money and join in the capitalist crusade. Supply and demand. (FFS)
pap Posted 12 June, 2012 Posted 12 June, 2012 ^This. What do people take this forum for? Some kind of socialist benevolent fund? Pay yer money and join in the capitalist crusade. Supply and demand. (FFS) What? You mean Baz and Steve aren't Trotskyists living a carbon neutral existence in a weaving commune? I want my money back. The thought of them crashing Ferraris into walls just because they can off the back of our proletariat blueys sickens me
jawillwill Posted 13 June, 2012 Author Posted 13 June, 2012 To be fair, it doesn't really bother me if my posts have spelling mistakes in. It just gives a bad first impression to visitors to the board, thus making the forum look sh!t. If that's what the Baj-meister wants, then so be it. I just wanted to do my civil duty by helping out. Big Society and all that.

Big Society and all that. Are you a spin-doctor in real life, jawillwill? That is brilliant. It's heartening to see upstanding citizen fighting for the perceived image of the board, especially on the issue of spelling - which is something that footy fans are always mocked for. For a moment there, I thought you might be trying to get something for nothing.
jawillwill Posted 14 June, 2012 Author Posted 14 June, 2012 You clearly don't know me at all. I always put others before myself, and all I really want is for this forum to be a success. It'll have the eys of the world viewing it now that Saints are in the Premier League, and the issue of bad spelling is one which could be easily resolved by allowing posts to be edited. Does SWF Ltd. have any positions available as a Customer Welfare Support Officer or anything? If not, there should be, and I would love to apply. I would be happy to only recieve minimum wage.
jawillwill Posted 3 July, 2012 Author Posted 3 July, 2012 If peple like me were alowed to edit our posts, this poost would have absolutly no selling mistakes in it. Mayb.
Baj Posted 4 July, 2012 Posted 4 July, 2012 To be fair, it's a bit late for steve and I to worry about some posters content making the forum look "sh!t"
Verbal Posted 9 July, 2012 Posted 9 July, 2012 What about editing balsups in tread tittles for full members?
jawillwill Posted 9 July, 2012 Author Posted 9 July, 2012 You have to be a Full Member PLUS to be able to do that. That's an £8 annual subscription with a small additional admin fee of 50p per edit.

Could they make it a free edit if done within 15 minutes of parking your car ..... oooops sorry making the initial error?

I did not know that. Can I suggest then that we shorten Full Member PLUS to Big Member so that it fits nicely under the name?

Why don't you just get them to bugger off by banning them, and leave us cool kids to make it good again (with editable posts). And maybe re-instate Deppo while you're at it? He's served his time.
