It should be cut and pasted at the top of the HCDAJFU thread and flashed up on the screen at 30 second intervals until the people who don't get it, get it. If someone could pass it on to the lazy national media too, it will save endless links with the likes of Yakubu and er, Michael Owen...

There's also an implication from our recruitment under Adkins so far that age could be a factor, although it's not explicitly stated it kind of goes along with the enthusiasm and hunger (there are exceptions) - I think Hooiveld (at 29) might be the oldest player he's signed on a permanent deal.

Seems to fit Cortese's general model of being prepared to pay a bit more to get exactly what he wants.
