Nipper and his mates have gone out to the Ukraine (6 of them) and met up with another group of Saints fans out there.

 

They went to the England hotel, this morning, but couldn't get past secuirty, so booked themselves into the hotel spa and had a massage :scared:

 

Ended up spendng their time with the England team + pundits

 

Steve Clalridge very complementary about Saints and Adkins. Rooney and Gerrard spent time to have pictures done.

 

Look out for a big Saints flag tomorrow.

I think it's good that the team is more accessible now. At the WC in Germany, with nothing better to do in Nuremburg I turned up to await the arrival of the England team, along with a few thousand other England fans. Eventually the team coach turned up and one fat bloke with a kit bag got out and disappeared inside the hotel, the players having been delivered via the rear entrance.

Ukraine is top of my countries to visit, wont be this year sadly. Great to see Saints being represented out there though.

 

BTW, make sure your nipper and his mates cover their equipment up before sticking it in any of the local totty. Seriously, there is an AIDS pandemic amongst young people in Southern and Eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine is a sh*thole run by thugs.

 

Nice that the England team are accessable to the loyal few making the trip, but I can think of nicer places to do this, like Brazil in 2 years time (if we get there...)

Have tickets all the way to the final after the group stages...so fingers crossed.

 

Often see Saints flags when travelling with England. Had my photo taken standing next to a nice big one in Kazakhstan. Now that was a good trip!

They just had their Saints flag taken down by Burnley fans because of Jay Rod.... all banter though, they are having beers with them now. they couldnt speak highly enough about him and reckon even at 7 mill we have a bargain.

Not that good, as they've left us with half a cricket team!!!!!! Wasters!!!!!!

 

In jest of course, as been following their trip with great interest and hoping they look after themselves out there. They've got some cracking photos (with Rooney, Gerrard, Kammy, Clemence etc) already and some decent stories to match (let's just say those Ukranian girls are real friendly and I'm getting a more fuller picture then daddy Gemmel is).

Indeed. I have a friend who lives out there. He's 40 and looks a bit like Boris Johnson yet still manages to get plenty. He also has a facebook friends list full of young, fit, blonde women that most men over here would give a right testicle for.

I am in my 40s and my fb friends list is pretty okay too. :)

 

I am off to Ukraine (Crimea) for 4 weeks in 2 weeks time. Lookin forward to it!!

Completely gutted not to be out there after doing all the qualifiers. Seriously considering going out for the 1/4s should we get there.

in which case Gemmel im assuming they all played for the same youth team last season!! (or at least the majority)

Saw a photo of some of the lads with Rooney, Gerrard and others on facebook yesterday morning

It was like the Ukrainians had won the tournament after their match last night here in Donetsk. Massive firework display at the final whistle, horns, people hanging our of cars. All that was missing was a Kalashnikov being fired into the air.

 

I can also confirm the ladies have a certain something (extremely long legs being one) ....and there's complimentary french letters in my room, which judging by the racket coming from the room next door these past two nights.....

For cables, so no over-exuberant press photographer or ball-boy trips and breaks their neck.

If we beat the Italians I'll be doing (hopefully) a road trip with the nipper for the semi-final, much to the wife's annoyance.

 

Gambling and booking flights/ hostel to Warsaw for the semi. Roughtly £200 return with 2 nights accom now, expect this to double.....

 

Up the England!

Wizzair from Luton (prob closer to the midlands than Soton). Flown with them before to Bulgaria and pretty decent. Early flight there Weds (8.15am) and back Fri (10.15am). Accomodation on Hostelbookers roughly £20 a night, maybe more for private room if taking the nipper though (£20 is based on dorm of 8-10 heads).

 

Looked at via Berlin/ Warclaw, Krackow etc and training it but at these prices and with limited time off work/ away from the missus it has to be direct all the way for me!

Flights are coming in at £200 each for me with WizzDrive/hostel option maybe the viable if I stopover in Germany on the way there and back.
this is for the Semi's..?they have definately gone up as they were nearer £100 last night robbing ****s i may well go if we get there if the prices dont go through the rooffly from luton it seemsfly out 27 back on 29 Edited by Thedelldays
