A better bet is 4/7 to stay up, thats a 50% + return on your cash in less than a year. In fairness its the type of bet you need to able to risk a wedge on to make it worthwhile. Me thinks the price will change when our signings start getting announced.

I can't see any spread bet prices available at the mo, if they reflect the second favorites to go down tag I am a buyer at up to 40 points

9/1 ( Stan James and BetVictor)

That's pretty good. I got 11/1 before the start of last season for Saints to get promoted (only £20 on it alas) and that top ten bet looks feasible to me, given any team below the usual top 7 or 8 could be placed almost anywhere.

I was only allowed to place a £20 e/w bet on Saints to win the Premier via skybet. Stand to win £66,706.67 - maybe I'll get a cheap Porsche Cab :) Didn't realise I had £40 in my account until I logged into Skybet - the £40 was because I put an e/w bet last year on Saints to win the Championship :) Hope I do that again then!

Who does the bets where you get a handicap start like 30 points head start and if saints finish within 30 points of the league winners they pay out as winners of the handicap league ? that would be a good better i remember teams like us would be odds of 10 or 11-1.

Snap - I had £50 spare from my 14/1 e/w on the Championship (after losing cash on backing QPR and Villa to go down) how unlucky can one man be on football bets? To miss out by 1 point at both ends of the table!!

Isn't the return on the original stake £93k as opposed to £83k ? £78175 for the win and £15650 for the place (assuming E/W is 1/4 of the odds).

Nah, not according to my betting slip.

£25 e/w at 2500/1 each = 1/3 odds 1-2.

£83,383.33

If you can tell me how to post a PNG from my desktop I'll show you! ;)
