spyinthesky Posted 6 June, 2012 Posted 6 June, 2012 Just received a flyer from the Commercial Dept Corporate Boxes are priced at £60k for Central, £50k for Wing and £45k for 'Goal' (where ever this is) Table of 10 in the Markus Liebherr lounge will be £32k All exclusive of VAT Had a Box for first 2 seasons at St Marys (fairly central) and it was £30k as I recollect. Todays prices work out at £379 per game per person for the central boxes In today's difficult financial climate the club will do well to sell out corporates at these prices Separately I had to smile as the advertising shots used pictures of the crowd on the hallowed turf at the end of the Coventry game when the official mantra was 'Keep off the Pitch'!!!
Bucks Saint Posted 7 June, 2012 Posted 7 June, 2012 When Roman A took over Chelsea, they had some luxury boxes down one side which were priced at £1m. All of them were empty except for one occupied by Samsung, the sponsors at the time. So £60k is cheap!
Supersubpuckett Posted 7 June, 2012 Posted 7 June, 2012 60k is good value but not sure if there are enough big organisations in the area that would be in the market for them
dellboypete Posted 7 June, 2012 Posted 7 June, 2012 Perfect timing - just had an email this morning from our HR about Corporate Hospitality & Events Register - reminding anyone that is invited to events like the Euros etc that they must inform HR beforehand so thay can decide if it's bribery and corruption. So anyone out there with a Corp Box at SMS this season - I'm open to offers!
Matthew Le God Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 No-one seems to want to talk to each other in the newly refurbished for 2012/13 Mick Channon suite...
Turkish Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 No-one seems to want to talk to each other in the newly refurbished for 2012/13 Mick Channon suite... Sales dont seem to be going very well either. 12 people, most without drinks, no wonder we cant afford Rob Green.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 Short queue for the bar is a bonus, plus you get a table each.
Turkish Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 Short queue for the bar is a bonus, plus you get a table each. A lonely looking blonde stood on her own in a bar at a football match. Reckon she's a brass?
Dig Dig Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 No toilets though seeing as there appears to be three gents relieving themselves against the back wall.
The Kraken Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 Can't even afford stools for the tables. Our lack of funding is seriously worrying.
Turkish Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 Can't even afford stools for the tables. Our lack of funding is seriously worrying. It's the Liebherrs, they've lost interest in us.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 I used to work as a supervisor at SFC managing half the corporate boxes on match days - best and easiet job I ever had
The Kraken Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 I'm a bit worried about the way the lad in purple is eyeing up the blonde; I think he looks a bit rapey.
Turkish Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 On the plus side, not a scruffy, overweight, replica shirt clad mong or a wig or jester hat in sight.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 No toilets though seeing as there appears to be three gents relieving themselves against the back wall. Maybe they have gone for this... At least it is better than this...
Turkish Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 I guess based on this evidence there is no need to expand the corporate boxes yet.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 June, 2012 Posted 13 June, 2012 It would seem so, I can't provide any stats to counter the damning evidence of the cartoon.
