ST renewals not till noon on 6th

All the written details on season ticket sales just say available today. So I've just rung to renew. After the usual several layers of recorded messages, I got one that told me season ticket renewal is from 12 noon on6th June.

 

Thought I let others know not to waste their time like I did mine.

There seems to be an issue with the ticket renewal website whereby Under 11 renews linked to an Adult account display an adult only ticket and price. Can't seem to change it anywhere.

 

Having to phone up instead of just renewing through the site. Pah!

Been on the phone 40 minutes & the website wont let you change DOB details!! What a waste of time that was!!!

Trying to renew as a student (was also one last season) but only giving me the adult price option. I assume this will have to be done in person from the 20th?

 

I expect so as they will want to see evidence of a student card

I've got the same problem, i think you're correct. Have to provide proof of card.

It's the same for under 17's they too come up as Adult price

Ok, I now have 495 customer points. No idea what to do with them.

 

Well that seems to be a fairly simple pounds = points equation. Wouldn't that mean people buying individual tickets all season will have a greater entitlement to go to away games than ST holders by the end of the season (assuming they've previously attended the same number of away games) ?

Finally got through after using the old 0800 2800050 phone number (15 mins on hold).. the 023 81 number on the OS kicks you off after 10 mins of being on hold.

 

Tickets renewed and all is right with the world again as I sit here surrounded by Pompey fans keeping their heads down. COYR

Did you get an explanation for this , i.e. are they going to fix it as, my 8 and 11 year old are being charged at full whack £625.Dont see the point on spending 30 mins on the phone if they are going to fix it.Also why dont they allow carparking to be renewed on-line? you have to do that over the phone, but that person cant help me with the season ticket problem.

Nice to see you have to pay an extra £1.50 for the privelage of buying on line. But in the scheme of things after a £160 hike for my ticket this year, another £1.50 is small beer, well not even 1/2 pint at St Marys :)

No excuses from the lady, just an apology and nicely took my money. She didnt sound surprised to be honest. I have emailed them with the issue so hopefully a fix will be sorted for all of those affected.

If you are offered an adult ST renewal when looking for concession your DOB isn't registered with us. Simply call 0845 688 9288 to rectify

Thanks but both of the kids were pre-registered last month and I have the confirmation e-mail to prove it!

 

Also when I log in I can see them linked as family , with the correct DOBs, but when I click on proceed all three seats come up but at the adult price.I'll just have to call.I did e-mail them via the "Contact Us" link but i guess they are swamped.

Yes, there is an option to pay via installments.

 

Nice, looks pretty straight forward if I'm honest. Looking forward to July when I can join in...

 

What's the 'seat' selection part like? Is it interactive as in it shows you the individual seats, or is it just blocks? I'm just going by what i've seen on toher clubs websites, whereby you can select individual seats with your mouse etc.

You're not the only one. There was one there when I logged in at lunchtime to have a look. Now, nothing on mine or the wife's.

did some investigation work and all three are under my eldest son's name and number

 

I've been having the same problem, guess mine will be under my dad's name and number then. How utterly stupid. Shouldn't expect anything less from saints where online ticketing is concerned though!

I've been doing a bit of digging and it turns out ours is on one of our friend's numbers. This would be fine, and we ARE able to renew (if we wish), but it's got his ST number and name next to our seats. So apparently (unconfirmed) if we don't change this, we won't be able to access our loyalty points etc. Not sure why it would link us all to one person's account anyway though, bit weird.

Please can everyone renew. Every renewal is one extra seat which can't be taken by a Premier League JCL.

 

Of course the Championship JCLs are already in the house (waves Hartlepool away ticket in the air), but better a Championship JCL than a Premier League JCL...

I bought 4 season tickets on my account 4 years ago and have renewed every season since then - 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 senior - all with their own customer numbers.

 

Now 3 weeks ago I made sure I registered all of them on the new system with the correct addresses and birth dates. Tonight I went on the system and linked all 3 of them to my account.

 

But when I tried to renew all 4 season tickets they are all in my name - and all showing at the full adult price! So it's all gone a bit wrong - bit like a night in in Skatesville!

Sorted. No problems at all, but just a single renewal. Back in Kingsland North (which has been upgraded so costs more :( but had to be done), payments spread over 12 months @ 0% on credit card avoiding £50 charge. Can't be bad.

Same happened to me. Apparently its because they have not recorded the concessions DOB's properly. You will need to ring them up, they will sort out the DOB's, then you are good to go. Took me 30 mins to get through, then 3 mins to get sorted.

Interesting, so where's the cut-off for JCL status? Season ticket holder for the last 5 years? Last 3 years? Bought matchday tickets for >75% of home matches in the past few seasons?

 

I've been a season ticket holder for the past two seasons and bought my tickets week-by-week before that. I've barely managed to get to any away games since we were relegated to the Championship. Do I still pass the test?

 

Look, I get where you're coming from but a full stadium means more revenue for transfers etc. Handily JCLs seem quite happy to splash out on success, better to wring them for every penny they're worth :lol:
