saintchris23 Posted 4 June, 2012 Share Posted 4 June, 2012 Maybe Cortese listened to you? - To renew via telephone, please call the freephone Ticket Hotline on 02381 780 780. From the OS.

saintchris23 Posted 4 June, 2012 Author Share Posted 4 June, 2012 Don't shoot the messenger! It's free from my mobile whereas an 0800 number is not, therefore technically, it's a freephone number I suppose!
Gemmel Posted 4 June, 2012 Share Posted 4 June, 2012 Two / three years ago, we needed to change a season ticket and the missus rang up on the on the premium number that was constantly engaged. She put it on automatic redial until she got through, but it was charging her every time. When the phone bill came through, it was 98 quid just on the Saints number!! She wrote to Cortese and the very same day they received it , she got a call from Oldknow on behalf of Cortese who apologised and sent her a cheque (plus some) for the inconveinece. JustMike Posted 4 June, 2012 Share Posted 4 June, 2012 Mr Ticket Tax listening to fans. Yeah right. you still bleating on about this!! FFS. To compare, I booked 3 tickets at the mayflower for me and the kids to go watch Oliver and they charged me £3 per ticket in "tax"!!! SFC is cheap in comparison

Technically it's not a free phone number, you've just already paid for it within your included minutes on your contract, technically

alehouseboys Posted 5 June, 2012 Share Posted 5 June, 2012 Does seem strange, I thought all free phone numbers were 0800 and the like but does say that on the OS... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2795233,00.html Just dialling 81780780 in the Southampton area would normally be local rate, outside adding the area code 023 would be a national call. Wonder if it's another OS faux pas?
Thedelldays Posted 5 June, 2012 Share Posted 5 June, 2012 An 0800 is not free for me. Where as a local number is
