dune Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 The last cup final she attended I think. The Queen - 100% SFC.
Ziggy Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 The last cup final she attended I think. The Queen - 100% SFC. Ha ha we put her off football for life!
VectisSaint Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 The last cup final she attended I think. The Queen - 100% SFC. So why didn't she go to the Cardiff game? Plastic.
70's Mike Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 I believe she rates that day 1st May 1976 as the greatest in her 60 year reign
Hatch Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 Was Peter Rodrigues on her boat today, disgrace if he wasn't.
70's Mike Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 She is. However how is this Saints related???? Should moved to lounge She was present at the greatest day in the Club's History ?
mcjwills Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 So why didn't she go to the Cardiff game? Plastic. Mick Channon a fellow horse fan was there and for that reason shes came a saints supporter.
ART Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 What an incredible publicity today Her Majesty and Prince Phillip put over for standing on the terraces. Never been so proud to have such an incredible pair reigning over us. True Saints. Anyone see "Land of Hope and Glory" being performed with the rain pouring down on the drenched singers?
the saint in winchester Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 Gary Cahill ruled out of Euro 2012 with double fracture of the jaw when that Belgian truffle pushed him hard into Joe Hart. Should have been a red card. Hope Jos gets a call up now.

Saint Garrett Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 Didnt the queen announce shes a West Hoof United fan ?
Badger Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 Didnt the queen announce shes a West Hoof United fan ? Think you might be confusing 'fact' with an episode of Till Death Do us Part where Alf sees a photo of West Ham in Buckingham Palace recounting how West Ham won the World Cup.
david in sweden Posted 4 June, 2012 Posted 4 June, 2012 What a woman! ....think she was heard to remark.. at last, now that Southampton have finally won it, I don't have to come and sit on this hard seat anymore.
mcjwills Posted 4 June, 2012 Posted 4 June, 2012 ....think she was heard to remark.. at last, now that Southampton have finally won it, I don't have to come and sit on this hard seat anymore. Must be true I read it on the saintsweb
Graffito Posted 4 June, 2012 Posted 4 June, 2012 Funny old hat she's wearing. See Sunny Jim, son of Portsmouth, looking longingly at the cup.
John Boy Saint Posted 4 June, 2012 Posted 4 June, 2012 So why didn't she go to the Cardiff game? Plastic. Objected to paying the Severn Bridge toll, and didn't fancy having to meet that whinging Frog Wenger! Still marvellous, the last time she handed over the cup was to the Mighty Saints!
Saint Garrett Posted 4 June, 2012 Posted 4 June, 2012 Can't even be bothered to turn up to her own concert.....poor form Queenie !!
jawillwill Posted 4 June, 2012 Author Posted 4 June, 2012 That's only because they've gone to get in the queue for season tickets early.
Saint J 77 Posted 4 June, 2012 Posted 4 June, 2012 What a woman! Love the hat! Its a nice to think she might have a soft spot for Southampton after watching us win the cup. I'm sure in reality that day is a distant and faded memory in her long life now though.
terrasaint Posted 4 June, 2012 Posted 4 June, 2012 The last cup final she attended I think. The Queen - 100% SFC. Not sure if true or not. She was due to attend the 2007 final as it was the first final at the new wembley. Have not been able to establish whether she attended or not. Would be interesting to know.
ecuk268 Posted 6 June, 2012 Posted 6 June, 2012 I believe that she did attend in 2007 but 1976 was the last time that she handed out the medals. Obviously she thought that after Saints everything else would be an anti-climax.
