saintrich Posted 12 November, 2008 Share Posted 12 November, 2008 I'm looking for a job and have checked Reed, Jobserve and the Daily Echo, but they all want really experienced people and are offering pretty high wages. Does anyone know any websites, which have jobs that I might actually have a chance of getting? I'm not really fussed what job, some office work would be cool. Ideally equal to or more than 6.18 Per hour. My current job is annoying hours and I'm mainly doing evenings, which means I have f*** all to do during the day, because all my friends are at work, so I want normal 9-5 hours. On a serious note though Rich, have you tried fish4 and the like?
TopGun Posted 12 November, 2008 Share Posted 12 November, 2008 I know agencies like Man Power are mainly labour based stuff but when I was in my late teens there were definitely a few office based agencies in town... surely some are still about, I think there was one called Brook Street which gave me an office job for about six months at BT for example. I also got a job at the PO through them for a bit.

On a serious note though Rich, have you tried fish4 and the like? fish4 is the Daily Echo, mongtard. My advice would be splatter your CV on Monster, Total Jobs, Fish4 etc... let them come to you. Once thing I would say though if you do that, is be prepared for mongtards from agencies phoning you up zillions of times each day, offering you crap jobs which have absolutely no relevence to your CV or experience level. I f-cuking h-ate agencies... unfortunately lots of companies use them nowadays, so you have no choice but to use them.

In my initial quote I said 'fish4 and the like' meaning websites where you could search online and/or upload your CV. I think he understood what I was meaning. TopGun Posted 12 November, 2008 Share Posted 12 November, 2008 I think it's the difference between approaching an agency and specifying stuff rather than just e-CVs on mass sites that normally are a waste of time with agencies.
