dune Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 I've only got a small pond, but got a mixture of fish - two tench, two golden orfes, two ghosties, a few goldfish, a patchy red and white Koi, and Big Bertha (a goldfish coloured koi that's huge - must be 6lbs). This might seems odd but Bertha is one clever fish. If i stand at the end I call her "fish fish fish" and she pokes her head out and looks at me asking for food.
cryoman1965 Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 No she sticks her head up and says xxxx xxxx xxxx
Tokyo-Saint Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Bloody Japanese fish coming over here, living in our ponds, stealing our fish food.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 How do you sex a fish then? Very carefully, showing it respect and not just leaving in the morning.
tpbury Posted 5 June, 2012 Posted 5 June, 2012 Have you got a big emmelltee in there? A big fish in a small pond can do amazing things, but shouldn't be transferred to a bigger pond in case its red and white colouring fades.
