trousers Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Greetings from a sunny Wembley Stadium. Pompey's Oxlade-Chamberlain in the starting line-up Come on England!
Hatch Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 why the hell are these two teams kicking the hell out of each other?
mulletsaint Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Great finish by Welbeck shouldn't disguise a poor performance. At least at the end of Capello's reign we had begun to play a more modern fluid brand of football. Roy comes in and we're straight back to 4-4-2. No control of midfield whatsoever. Switch Chambo to the right, Young to the left, stick Gerrard in the ten position and move Milner to defensive mid alongside Parker. 4-2-3-1. Job done.
trousers Posted 2 June, 2012 Author Posted 2 June, 2012 Dull game. The "who can get their paper aeroplane closest to the centre circle" competition is quite exciting though...
skintsaint Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Looking solid. If we don't concede many we have got goals in us. Chelsea styleeeee Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Thedelldays Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Rooney does make a difference when he is in the number 10 role. scott parker has had a good game also
SNSUN Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Two 1-0 wins under Roy. 6 more of those and we've win the Euros. :-)
Griffo Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Milner really does offer nothing. He was awful tonight.
egg Posted 2 June, 2012 Posted 2 June, 2012 Milner really does offer nothing. He was awful tonight. He wasn't that good. The lad just isn't a winger. I'd prefer Downing to him, and he's sh!te.
skintsaint Posted 3 June, 2012 Posted 3 June, 2012 No Lampard and playing Gerrard with his Hollywood passing means we won't keep possession so sitting back and breaking with pace is our tactics it seems. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2 With no one dropping into the hole, it's often a choice between sideways or the Hollywood ball. The midfield is too deep and the forwards too far forward to really make anything of the space.
