gaz Posted 31 May, 2012 Share Posted 31 May, 2012 I'm looking for a new laptop and like everyone in my position, I want something with the ''best possible specs'' for the money. My current one is a HP, it loses WLAN regualrly and randomly, replacing the network card and drivers didn't help, neither did replacing the router. Plus, its getting tired and worn out, broken buttons, etc. I'd like something quick, 500+gb of space, ideally 4gb or more of RAM with the ability to add more if possible, and all that for around £300 or less. I don't play many games right now (FM, rFactor, VRC Pro) but thats mainly because my current one isn't great on graphics. Plenty of PC games I've missed out on because of this. I've seen this ASUS X54C for good money, worth it? http://www.ebuyer.co...top-x54c-sx127v Any other options worth looking at?
buctootim Posted 31 May, 2012 Share Posted 31 May, 2012 How about this? http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/Grade_A2_Acer_Aspire_5733_Core_i3_Windows_7_Laptop_in_Black__a2-LX.RN502.072/version.asp Ive got an Acer laptop as an occasional machine and its well specced and low price. Not totally rock solid though so if you need it for 8 hours a day everyday you might want to look elswhere.
saint_stevo Posted 4 June, 2012 Share Posted 4 June, 2012 Try Dell Outlet. I got an i5, 6gb ram, 1gb GPU, 17" screen for £330 a while back, meant to have been scratch and dent but it is immaculate
