spyinthesky Posted 29 May, 2012 Share Posted 29 May, 2012 Any one know if the rules have changed for 'Find Tenant Only' clients? My wife rents out her Mothers house (to pay the £35k per year Dementia Care package!!) and the tenants deposit has been kept with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme for 4 years with no issues. Have just received a letter from the Estate Agent, who found the tenant and arranged the deposit scheme, to advise that any change to the tenancy agreement requires a change to the tenancy agreement at a cost of £25. All seems a bit odd
Petersfield Saint Posted 29 May, 2012 Share Posted 29 May, 2012 Sounds a bit suspicious to me; I would take a look at the TDS website - there's loads of information there for both tenants and landlords. I'm at the other end of the scale - a conscientious tenant just in the process of moving out and wanting to make sure I don't get shafted over my deposit!
