Astra Alarm

The Remote central locking facilitly on my key has stopped working......now every time i open the door manually the alarm goes off. Any idea how i stop this? 2002 Astra Bertone

Get the battery in your key replaced and thry may have to reset your key electronically to the car. Thats all I could think may be the problem

Tried changing the battery and re-syncing by locking and unlocking while in ignition, worked for a bit but lights dont even work on key now! Just the alarm ****es me and everyone else off

On a car that age you'll probably be best off removing the alarm.

Perhaps some ants have taken to living within your car and somehow managed to disrupt the electrics ?

sounds like one or both of your micro switches are Duff open up key fob bend thin cardboard (fag packet) to fit in base opposite of clicky bit snap back together making a tighter fit, If this don't work just send your fob not the key bar to the mosh on flee bay he makes em good as new fitting new micro switches and outer covers for about 17 bucks, HTH
