Everybody has heard of Neil Armstrong. Most have heard of Buzz Aldrin. Almost nobody has heard of Michael Collins - even though the three of them were all on the Apollo 11 mission together.

Ian Anderson wrote a song on this theme - it's on Tull's third album Benefit.

 

Here's an excerpt from the lyrics:
