I will be at Heaton Park next month.:smug:

Music Journalist said they were brilliant and sound better now than before. Pretty cool way of doing it.

Lets hope Ian Brown has had singing lessons!

I'd love the Roses to play the O2 in London.:smug:

Well went last night and it was absolutely incredible. They were better than I'd hoped, the atmosphere was superb, the support were brilliant, all in all one of the best £55 I've ever spent. Got there to see Peter Hooton from the Farm doing a few Farm songs mixed in with a number of clash songs, then the Wailers followed by Plan B who was class, even if you don't like his music the guy is immensely talented. The Roses were different class, place went mad when Adored started, got a shiver down my spine. Ian Browns voice sounded strong, the guy is a superb frontman. Bring on the stadium tour!

I was in Manchester on Saturday night for an Adrenaline Mob gig

I was wondering whey there were hundreds of people wearing wellie boots

I assume that Heaton park was slightly muddy?

Well my Adidas gazelles are probably ruined, still gives me an excuse to buy some more. :)

Put them on eBay with the fact they were at the Stone Roses gig, some muppet will pay over the odds. Did anyone who saw them in their prime see them? and what did they think?

I was there on the Friday night and thought they were superb. Sounded brilliant.

Never seen a crowd go so mental when they walked out. Made of Stone was my personal highlight. The entire place was bouncing along to that one and there must've been about 10 flares going off during it. What a sight it was.

I was there last night and had a great time... saw them back in the early nineties and have to say I thought they were better last night... really tight with Mani, Reni and John Squire flawless. Ian Brown had his wobbles but then so did the crowd... it's these in-deficiencies that make him great. It was awesome... I grew up with these tunes... MASSIVE tunes... much better than anything that has happened since.. Fools Gold was a highlight for me... dancing like a loon.

I liked the 'edge' to the whole vibe too. Reminded me of the early 90's at Glasto when you thought anything could happen... most gigs are sterile, corporate events now where everyone (bands included) goes through the motions. The Roses last night reminded me of the reason I started going to gigs.. Sure the setlist was predicable but then they only have 2 albums and a handful of singles... the crowd were great... Thankfully I didn't see too many Camden 'it' crowder's there there either which pleased me too.. :)

Yes, music snobbery is alive and kicking in East Manchester!!!

Was pretty much all football lads there and hardly any Indie Cindy's. Boozing around Manchester beforehand reminded me of when England played at Old Trafford.

Oasis fans you mean?? Yeah saw plenty of them but also (usually) normal people off on one! Generally a really good vibe from the people I spoke to.
