I have it on good authority that we have enquired about Gio Dos Santos from Spurs. Nigel thinks the out of favour winger/attacking midfielder could really add some quality at a knockdown price as Spurs no longer want the player. It seems as though he's been around a while, but he's still only 23.

Spurs want 6millish apparently, not a bad player but hasn't ever been given the chance at Spurs I don't think.

 

He did well at Ipswich so you can't throw the ''He's not suited to English football'' argument at it.

 

I think in the right environment and with regular football he'd be class.

I'd certainly be happy with this, should it materialise.

 

Talented, tricky and whilst he has moaned to the press a couple of times - it has only been about wanting to play more. Considering how little playing time he has been given under Redkrapp I'm surprised he hasn't thrown a lot more full-blown hissyfits.

 

Spurs supporting mate of mine rates him v highly.

 

Before the 'Tottenham Reject' tag comes out - lets not forget bout 'Arrys tendency to have favourites. Or how he treated Bale at first, wasn't he set to go out on loan to Forrest a few years back? Only got in the side due to BAE getting injured.

I'm not sure Harry will want to talk to us after we have left his loan star in the reserves for 6 months. That guy has been such a star for us that I can't even remember his name! I'll edit my own post as I soon as it comes to me.

God I hope we get him. Quality player. I mentioned him on the HCDAGJFU thread a while ago. I think if we could only sign one player (in our capabilities) this year, it would be him.

Oh yeah, for those who doubt his quality (worse than Rhodes,,, ha!) ,, he came second only to Muller for young player at world cup 2010. He was quality in that tournament. Fore whatever reason 'arry does not like him. For me thats good enough to bring him in! Any one who arry does not like, he has no judgement in players at all, just look at Darren Bent.

That sadly came to us as a way of getting rid of any Bale sell on money. Falque was another that we paid but didn't use.
