aqbadger Posted 22 May, 2012 Share Posted 22 May, 2012 Top bloke. The company I work for have just published his latest book 'Jeffanory'. Didn't realise he lives in Bishop's Waltham. Anyone else met him? He seemed to think we'd be alright next season, mid table was as far as I could get for a prediction! Also reckons Lambert will stay for a long time to come and get at least 12 next season, and in comparison said he was shocked about the Holt situation at Norwich. He seemed a bit surprised to see a Saints fan, even though we are only based near Didcot! Everyone else seems to be a Chelsea fan at the moment though so that may explain it! Anyway, shameless plug time - his book is available at all good bookshops, and is a good light-hearted read.

I read 'The Jellyman has thrown a wobbler' and if it's half as good as that it will be worth the cover price. Funny bloke and really good writer. fareham saint phil Posted 23 May, 2012 Share Posted 23 May, 2012 His rant against NC was as much in support for his friend Matt Le Tiss, so i have no issue with that, his lads have been mascots at a saints game before so hopefully being watered off Harltepool!!!, he is as decent in real life as he appears on TV, nice bloke and approachable

Colinjb Posted 23 May, 2012 Share Posted 23 May, 2012 (edited) He's a complete cock particularly after his rant against Cortese. Considering the people he works with it's surely not a surprise that his opinion is a bit skewed. Never underestimate the power of the old boys network. shane d Posted 23 May, 2012 Share Posted 23 May, 2012 His son plays for Winchester city under 13, same league as my son. Every time they have played us or on the pitches next to us he has been there, running the line or shouting out. Always good for a chat, lovely bloke. His second team is saints. His son is a big saints fan, not hartlepool.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 24 May, 2012 Share Posted 24 May, 2012 He used to live in Alresford just round the corner from me. Met him, top bloke. Used to have a kick about with his kids sometimes on the pitch next to where we played our home games, I'd like to think he saw us score a goal and in his mind said "And there's been a goal at Grange Road!". Probably not though. Heard his kids are saints fans. One's a Chelsea fan, can't remember what the other one was, not Saints though. There used to be a Chelsea flag in one of his windows. I sound like a right stalker.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 24 May, 2012 Share Posted 24 May, 2012 The other one might have been a Saints fan actually, thinking about it. One was Chelsea. This was years ago mind.
