david in sweden Posted 23 May, 2012 Share Posted 23 May, 2012 Pay him off now, and let's start afresh. If we can release players (for nothing) who cost big money from the start, we can certainly get rid of this one. If only half the stories published on here are correct, he's not the sort of player I'd want anywhere near the dressing room. He's certainly not a NA type - is he? I totally agree, and I suggested the same after we were taken over, since we needed to get rid of a colossal amount of players who would never put on a first team jersey in anger. However, this was not the policy of the club, and a limited few found new clubs before their contracts ran out, saving us a bit of money compared with paying them off. He will see his contract out this year, and since his loan periods haven't been successful it looks that he will then have to look for a proper job. david in sweden Posted 23 May, 2012 Share Posted 23 May, 2012 the club seem to disagree though... thats what surprises me, too. We should just pay him to go away. GARDENING LEAVE ; I think. Someone who can't hold down a goalie's place in the Conference surely can't even be regarded as candidate for a Prem. bench place.
the saint in winchester Posted 23 May, 2012 Share Posted 23 May, 2012 I'm sure he is not in NA's thoughts for the 25 places. Hopefully someone can take him on loan to further his career. Otherwise he will be outside the 25 and playing reserve games with no chance of making the first team. At the end of next season his contract is expired and he is a free agent. No longer our "player." Officially unemployed. We were conned on this one. No way "a future England goalkeeper" ..... unless Spurs mumbled under their breath "at hockey." skintsaint Posted 17 August, 2012 Share Posted 17 August, 2012 Already on the Gillingham bench and a few peeps on their forums saying worst footballer ever seen...the guy is finished once his contract runs out.
St Lej Posted 17 August, 2012 Share Posted 17 August, 2012 From what I've seen, Im surprised we didn't extend his contract. Looked assured every time I've seen him, and I'd have been more than happy to see him as first choice cover for Kelvin
S-Clarke Posted 17 August, 2012 Share Posted 17 August, 2012 Already on the Gillingham bench and a few peeps on their forums saying worst footballer ever seen...the guy is finished once his contract runs out. Doesn't surprise me. If he's a bench player in the Southern League, then he's not a league player full stop. Surprised he's lasted so long. Dig Dig Posted 17 August, 2012 Share Posted 17 August, 2012 Already on the Gillingham bench and a few peeps on their forums saying worst footballer ever seen...the guy is finished once his contract runs out. Yet a few on here were still maintaining that the club were happy with him as third choice until very recently. You know, the ones who refuse to jump on any bandwagon regardless of how correct it seems to be.

VectisSaint Posted 27 November, 2012 Share Posted 27 November, 2012 http://www.kentonline.co.uk/kentonline/sport/2012/november/27/tommy_forecast.aspx? Lolz at Martin Allen True, although to be fair he is not the first keeper to have to pick a penalty from Beattie out of the net. I think I may put a few quid on Preston to win against the Gills though, maybe the bookies don't know how bad he is.

Lolz at Martin Allen I think he deserves a chance. It may be the making of him (It was for Bart)
pingwing Posted 27 November, 2012 Share Posted 27 November, 2012 "He’s popular with the players in the dressing room" what ever next... Also ignores the chance Accrington had late on that went just the other side of the post that Forecast was nowhere near!
