Did we get anything to put in the cabinet? What actually were our rewards (other than future money from The Prem)? What was the prize money? Just wondering.
Saint Garrett Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 No idea. We got a trophy last year for finishing 2nd though. Not sure why we don't get anything despite being the first of the losers.

mcjwills Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 If you heard the anouncer he said the football league were not cobfident of us winning so did not send down the runners up cup on the day of the Coventry game.

Ha ha .... beat me to it .... oooh look I've come 2nd again ... easy ladies, sorry to disappoint you but I'm married. Quite topical ....... Bayern Munich are being called the greatest most considerate lovers of all time ..... On top for 120 minutes and still came 2nd. Actually thinking about it, these foreigners are showing us a thing or two about stamina and self control ...... the title actually belongs to Barca ..... 180 minutes on top and coming 2nd. No wonder why those Chelsea players had big smiles on their faces Ha Ha

Says all you need to know about the wisdom of the football league if true. They can't even kill off a football club that's been insolvent for 3 years let alone get a trophy in the right place....
georgeweahscousin Posted 21 May, 2012 Posted 21 May, 2012 There IS a trophy for finishing 2nd in the championship. The Football league have denied that it was at Upton Park on the last day of the season, saying that they send it to the club that finishes 2nd after that has been decided.
