Thedelldays Posted 18 May, 2012 Posted 18 May, 2012 (edited) in your opinion..who are the top 10 biggest clubs in european football......the real traditional giants of the game. obviously, with the new catchment area and mega dome we will be filling, one of this lot will be shoved out of the way here is my thoughts Man U Liverpool Barcelona Real Madrid Bayern Munich Ajax AC Milan Juventus Inter Benfica other possibilities... Celtic Red Star Marseille Dortmund Arsenal Edited 18 May, 2012 by Thedelldays
S-Clarke Posted 18 May, 2012 Posted 18 May, 2012 depends on how you look at it, if it's financial then your list isn't too far away - although Man City are creeping up. Why aren't we top though FFS?

Thedelldays Posted 19 May, 2012 Author Posted 19 May, 2012 This is the sort of argument Liverpool fans put forward, so is fairly irritating. It's being up there in the present that counts. well, I would not call Cluj a bigger team than man city when talking about european football...
Deano6 Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 well, I would not call Cluj a bigger team than man city when talking about european football... And I wouldn't say apples are bananas. What point are you making?

skintsaint Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 Barca Real Madrid Bayern Munich Man Utd Liverpool Inter Milan Juventus Last two bit tricky...maybe Galatasaray, PSG or Marseille apart from what others have said.
Frank's cousin Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 Dortmund should be in tehre.... 80,000 nearly every week, great place to wath Football, and just done the domestic double with a relatively young side... should do better in teh CL next year..IF they keep hold of their best...
Colinjb Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 I would make a case for FC Porto. Utterly dominant in the portuguese league in recent times, constantly competitive in Europe.
JackFrost Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 Peter Crouch and Jan Koller? Man City's backup keeper Costel Pantilimon is taller than those two HTH
Baj Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 Would argue against Juventus being in there. Historically maybe, but in the last 10 years (1 final aside) They've never done better than last 8 (twice), havent qualified 4 times (granted, they were relegated), and in the last 4 years havent qualified twice and only once got to the last 16.
Lighthouse Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 Lyon would be an outside candidate for one of the lower places, always seem to be in the CL knockout stages. Based on recent European pedigree, I'd go with: Man Utd Chelsea Bayern Inter Milan Barca Real Then pick any 3 from Lyon, Arsenal, Juve, Marseille, PSV, Porto and Ajax. All knockout regulars, but rarely trouble the last 4.
Smirking_Saint Posted 20 May, 2012 Posted 20 May, 2012 that liverpool are a far bigger club than man city Are they f*ck By that basis you should chuck N Forest in there aswell, Liverpool havnt been relevant in 4 years or more
