Blackpool vs Wham - hobson's choice!

Blackpool to win.

I at least respect how they play, Ian Holloway's sense of humour bypass a year or so ago no longer matters.

I fancy a repeat of the 3-2 v Cardiff from two years ago.

I don't have any real problem with WHam, but I'd like them to stay down at least one more season in the hopes that they may acquire at least a little humility.

We were down there for 7 years and our fans are more arrogant now than ever before.

Blackpool for me. West Ham's billy big b0ll0x attitude all year has been laughable, and I'd really look forward to seeing it again next year.

What topped it off for me was the interview with Gary O'Neil after the game against Hull (which they won 2-1). "We heard Southampton were 4-0 up, so we took our foot off the gas".

Yes Gary, as otherwise, you'd have scored as many goals as you'd wanted.

On one hand I'd like to see WHU promoted as they're a proper club with decent support and rather they were in the Premiership over some tinpot North West club. The Premiership has finally got rid of two, the last thing we need is another one.

Though I do like seeing bad things happen to big clubs, so would also find it amusing if they did miss out.

are you kidding me...do you read this main board often..?

There is a difference between dreams and aspirations, expectation etc and arrogantly believing its all rightfully ours. Its surely about time fans move aawy from such arbitrary concepts as 'big club/small club' anyway - prefer to be seen as a 'professionally managed club that plays attractive football' than worry about how we are perceived in other terms. Sure, would us to grow in terms of regular fan base and infrastructure as well as get some success as all fans want for their clubs. Some of us are just a little more hopeful that its actually possible now, not through arrogance, but because we are very professionally run and have a chaiman who seems to demand it.

...Blackpool. Actually think Holloway's alright - we got under his skin and he reacted naturally/honestly. might have looked a prat, but at least he's not affraid of his emotions.

I was playing the numbers. If I type "Wrong" after any of Turkish's posts, I stand a 95% chance of being accurate.

But yes, I do read this forum, and I have also read KUMB this season.

You cannot criticise Turkish without Delldays sticking up for him. Don't you know its one of the rules on this board. Wherever Turkish goes, Delldays follows.

We'll considering one year after leaving league one some our fans think we are bigger than Everton and Villa, are on an unstoppable march to the champions league and anyone that dares to qesution it or suggest we take one step at a time is negative and a WUM id call that arrogant or stupid, no?

I have always like West Ham but can't stand the big fat **** running the show, so I am afraid its Blackpool 6 West Ham 0 for me.

Totally agree with this. Unfortunately for both Bob and I the score is likely to be reversed though.

One person may have said something like this, more folly than arrogance, but don't let that get it the way of you or Delldays having a pop. The two of you and others on here strutting around like the whips of the forum is totally boring.

Blackpool for me.

I don't particularly like them, and I think that Holloway is a c*nt, but it'd be hilarious to see Fat Sam's excuses if they f*ck it up. He's a grim bloke with very limited management ability. I love the fact that he's pretty much spunked next season's transfer kitty on about 7 strikers, then played Carlton Cole up top by himself for most of the season.

West Ham. I live in London and many times over the years have I enjoyed the warm Cockney welcome you get down at Upton Park.

You mean they heat the blades before jabbing them into your back now? Very kind of them, may even have a cauterising effect.

He's already come 3rd in a two horse race. To see him come 4th would be funny as f**k!!

Blackpool for me. I always have a good w/e up there when we play them, apart from the football. Don't go much on the upton park big ********, booking 2 thames boats to celebrate promotion, which they have already been on. Love it if they don't go up. Oh and also, I think BFSA Is a cock.

A few fans in their enthusiasm for all things Saints, get carried away on the excitment of promotion and responding to rumours of NCs progressive plans for growth try and make a case for how this might come about either quickly or over time using a few otherclubs as bench marks.

Common sense response = 'interesting points, but maybe a tad optimistic even with a chairman that is on record as saying he wants growth, but I guess football is about opinion, enthusiasm and yes ego does play a part as 'bigger club' is what we all want to be.. but interesting perspectives nonetheless

Turkish and Chums response = hahhahha arrogant idiots who have no clue. You cant come on our boards and mention this as its makes us look arrogant and pathetic and its embarrassing and we look silly to other fans... which we really worry about... and dont even get me started on clown costumes... its not funny, just wierd

If you had simple 'dared to question it' it would have ben fair enough - but yours that's never enough for you is it - you need to wind folk up, ridicule and 'point fingers laughing'... at anyone who does not seem to conform to your exacting model of what a fan should be...

Quite right too "the voice of reason". Someone has to tell these arrogant morons how it really is. Anyone who labels themselves an "intelligent/enlightened poster" needs bringing down a peg or two. If that involves pointing and laughing then so be it.
