Jeff Le Taxi Posted 16 May, 2012 Share Posted 16 May, 2012 What are the benefits now we are in the Premier League? dont we get to play in a computer rendered St Marys instead of generic bowl stadium or whatever they call it.... Also any other gaming benefits? apps, screensavers, etc Oooo oo i forgot we will be in Premier league Panini sticker books etc! Have six year old twins who are at an impressionable age and would hate for them to become Man utd or Chelsea fans because we are not in the prem! Saint Charlie Posted 16 May, 2012 Share Posted 16 May, 2012 Not all Prem grounds are on Fifa I don't think. The players will obviously be rated better though

Colinjb Posted 16 May, 2012 Share Posted 16 May, 2012 Does anyone remember the game 'Premier League Stars?' Had all the teams and stadia from about 2000/01. Play through the entire campaign and visit such venues as Valley Parade and Highfield Road.

BlakeySFC Posted 16 May, 2012 Share Posted 16 May, 2012 St. Mary's won't be included. The majority of Prem grounds aren't included. Think the only ones that are: Emirates Stadium, Stamford Bridge, Old Traffford, Etihad Stadium, Anfield and Sports Direct Arena. All the Wolves'/Villa's/Wigan's/Spurs' of this world will just have generic stadiums like 'Ivy Lane' that look a bit like the ground they're meant to be, without all the intricacies that make them unique. Also, players will now be properly scanned in using Motion Capture rather just a generic face that looks kinda like Rickie/Lallana etc.
Saint_clark Posted 16 May, 2012 Share Posted 16 May, 2012 Also, players will now be properly scanned in using Motion Capture rather just a generic face that looks kinda like Rickie/Lallana etc. Looking forward to this. Lambert wasn't that good in 12 if I remember rightly, they seemed to just assume he was another one of "those" lower league cloggers. Hopefully he'll be improved this time round. Saint Matty 76 Posted 16 May, 2012 Share Posted 16 May, 2012 I was well chuffed with the 84 rated TOTY Lambert on FUT12! We actually have lots of in form players on Fifa, probably more than a lot of the lower Premier League teams; Lambert x3, Lallana x2, Fonte, Davis and Guly. I'm sure they'll move Lambert up to around an 80 and have Lallana not too far behind.
The9 Posted 16 May, 2012 Share Posted 16 May, 2012 (edited) We'll have to be up there for at least 1 year before they bother doing proper face scanning, we'll have a team full of comedy mask-faces in FIFA13, just like we do now in 12. As for "Panini" sticker books, either Topps or Merlin have the Prem licence and have had for a while. Plus there was a Championship album this season anyway which didn't even merit a mention on here. I don't give a toss about the trappings of the Premier League, even being on the telly all the time doesn't mean anything if you're going. Usually when the game comes out most lower league teams are ****e, with 1/2 players' rating a bit above the average. As the season progresses they update the ratings accordingly. Rickie's rating went from 67 to 73 between Sept. 2011 and March 2012 I believe, and Lallana went from 72 to 76 or something like that. Usually EA focus all their time and attention into the Premier League, as thats the one everyone cares about apparently.
sammysaint Posted 17 May, 2012 Share Posted 17 May, 2012 Lambert and Lallana will deffo get another 2 or 3 more added to there rating, IF GULY does he will be epic.

We were massively under-powered at the start of the season but are a solid 3 1/2 star team now. Handy as I pretty much always play as Saints online To be honest I can't see the stats rising that much beyond the usual EA 'Premier League players are better than all of the Championship ones!' boost. With the recent updates most of our first team approached 70-ish overall and the lower end of the Prem doesn't stretch far beyond that. For completeness sake here's the best Saints squad you can build on Ultimate Team (cost a pretty penny I can tell you!) Look at the difference between Lambert and Richardson:

The9 Posted 17 May, 2012 Share Posted 17 May, 2012 (edited) Saint Mary's is allready included under premier league Modern... It's not a bad likeness, but St Mary's doesn't have 2 tiers anywhere, which IIRC British Modern has on both side stands. I'm still waiting on a stadium editor with bated breath. Well, ok, actually I'm not that bothered, but it would be nice - and I'd want it to be better than the one on PES. Even being able to create a local park surround would be decent, for all the crappy parks sides I've created on there. I also seem to be one of few people online who doesn't just slam all their created players up to 99. Even creating average teams to play against using every other created player in the world is a hardship. There are literally no created players with skills under 45, so what's the point of the bottom half of that scale ? And why can't I just scan faces for everyone, why only my one Created player at a time ? Bloody daft. Edited 17 May, 2012 by The9 BRITISH modern. Mozz Posted 17 May, 2012 Share Posted 17 May, 2012 The biggest difference that being PL will mean for us in FIFA is that we'll be included in the Live Season mode. As such player ratings can change on a weekly basis to represent current form as opposed to once per season in the Jan update patch.
