jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Apparently not on speaking terms with adkins and has been late for training on numerous occasions. His body language at the awards dinner was awful and looked totally disinterested and left early. http://www.newsatden.co.uk/3108-millwall-end-long-term-interest-in-southampton-winger.html?
pingwing Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Saw he fired his agent to try and sort out a move too! Pretty sure we are deliberately making his life a misery by not bowing down to his childish attitude....
The Kraken Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 He really must be the least self-aware footballer there is. He's upset almost every manager he's worked for and consistently shown a poor attitude; yet his answer every time is to get away from one club to another, rather than staying, changing his attitude and actually putting in a decent shift. I really can't see him getting any sort of opportunity with us at PL level, so hopefully now it is time to just bin him out and get him off the books.
Armchair Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 This would explain why he featured in last game of the season
Jack Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Not good enough for what we're trying to achieve anyway. Doubt anyone really gives a toss
doddisalegend Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Late to non existent training. yes I was surprised to learn the squad are still trainning weeks after the season ended....
London Saint Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 why was he dancing when we got promoted then? he was doing a jig in the corridor on Football league show...why would you do that if you thought you were leaving ?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 wasnt in marbella last week with the rest of the lads
Sour Mash Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 why was he dancing when we got promoted then? he was doing a jig in the corridor on Football league show...why would you do that if you thought you were leaving ? Loving the attention of the cameras and glory one would imagine? Can't see him being part of our future regardless. Rubbish track record in terms of attitude and nowhere near enough talent to compensate for it.
This Charming Man Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 why was he dancing when we got promoted then? he was doing a jig in the corridor on Football league show...why would you do that if you thought you were leaving ? Because he's a kn0b? I cringed when I saw him doing his little rudeboy dance.
London Saint Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 I just hope he didnt get any sort of promotion bonus given his attitude this season...dont think hes played enough games to qualify for one anyway...
westofshannonsaint Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 why was he dancing when we got promoted then? he was doing a jig in the corridor on Football league show...why would you do that if you thought you were leaving ? "I just got a bonus, I just got a bonus, La La La..."
doddisalegend Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Love this thread three lines in a local rag...and everyone assumes the worst.....
Saint Without a Halo Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Is this Millwall being non interested just to get the price down?
Tokyo-Saint Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Love this thread three lines in a local rag...and everyone assumes the worst..... Burn him, He's a witch!
Thedelldays Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 I thought the players were on their break now...not coming in for training
doddisalegend Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Burn him, He's a witch! Careful dune will be out with his burning cross and a white pillowcase on his head......
Ohio Saint Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Burn him, He's a witch! We are not a bunch of uncilivilised morons. We should see if he floats first.
Mouldy Coat Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Because he's a kn0b? I cringed when I saw him doing his little rudeboy dance. Me too, I think he thinks he is some kind of gangster. His tweets on twitter are always rude boy, black gangster hoodie lingo. Seems to have a major attitude problem. I genuinely feel if Adkins doesn't want him, not sure who will?
kpturner Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 His body language at the awards dinner was awful and looked totally disinterested and left early.[/url]He was no more "disinterested" that Forte on the same table. He didn't leave early either did he? It all officially finished when the last award was presented, and he was still there for that.
SaintAndy14 Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Time for Puncheon to move on for good - not good enough and who wants a guy like him around anyway? Causes problems, bad attitude, not the nicest of chaps - on your bike. Hasn't really done anything productive for us over a number of seasons.
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Because he's a kn0b? I cringed when I saw him doing his little rudeboy dance. This, it struck me as a bit odd and attention seeking. He wont be retained.

Causes problems, bad attitude, not the nicest of chaps - on your bike. Hasn't really done anything productive for us over a number of seasons. To be fair, if we are to stay in the prem we had better get used to his type, he has the attitude of many a good premier league player.....just not the talent.
jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 15 May, 2012 Author Posted 15 May, 2012 He was no more "disinterested" that Forte on the same table. He didn't leave early either did he? It all officially finished when the last award was presented, and he was still there for that. My table was next to their table. they both vanished early. Some other people were sat in their seats during the awards ceremony. He gave half hearted applauses and was almost asleep during Lord M speech, but then again we all were:)
Wes Tender Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Well, if Hollow Way still wants him if Blackpool don't go up, then we might use him as a makeweight in a deal for Matt Phillips.
S-Clarke Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 I must admit, I was surprised he featured so little in the run-in (although he was so poor against Leeds). He could have been an option on the bench...but the largely ineffective Steve De Ridder got in front of him all the time, so he's obviously not pulling his weight 100%. Somethings not right anyway, but we're going to struggle to move him on as clubs will not pay the fee we want. We may be stuck with him running down his contract.
This Charming Man Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 He played well at Millwall in the FA Cup, was probably our best player in the 1st half.
sotonjoe Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 We've had pl;entry of chances to move him on before but all the time we demand unrealistic sums it's not going to happen. We should cut our losses and get rid.
pingwing Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 We are not a bunch of uncilivilised morons. We should see if he floats first. Or find out if he is heavier than a duck!
SuperSAINT Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 Now we're in the Prem, I think we should just drop the 1 million price, and cut him loose for 300k. It's just gone on too long.
Clapham Saint Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 I thought the players were on their break now...not coming in for training Adkins has fallen out with all of the players and they haven't shown up for ttraining for aa couple of weeks now. Apparently we're going to have to move everyone on.
Dig Dig Posted 15 May, 2012 Posted 15 May, 2012 He's a ****. **** him off Is that second expletive "wan k"?
Tokyo-Saint Posted 16 May, 2012 Posted 16 May, 2012 Is that second expletive "wan k"? I think it's "He a kn ob, w ank him off" Something to do with the promotion bonus I assume.

buctootim Posted 16 May, 2012 Posted 16 May, 2012 Only in peoples heads on this forum. It has been almost a full year tbf.
saintedwill Posted 17 May, 2012 Posted 17 May, 2012 why was he dancing when we got promoted then? he was doing a jig in the corridor on Football league show...why would you do that if you thought you were leaving ? I heard he's going for the next series of Strictly. He wants to be football's answer to Gavin Henson.
St_Tel49 Posted 18 May, 2012 Posted 18 May, 2012 Yeah - let's just slaughter the guy based on information from truly reliable sources
SO16_Saint Posted 18 May, 2012 Posted 18 May, 2012 He was a miserable git at the awards night to be honest. Face like a smacked arse.
PhilippineSaint Posted 19 May, 2012 Posted 19 May, 2012 We are not a bunch of uncilivilised morons. We should see if he floats first. Very unlikely of that happening as he is not a duck
southamptonfclegend Posted 19 May, 2012 Posted 19 May, 2012 Only in peoples heads on this forum. yeah he had to come out and publicly apologise because it's all in our heads.. idiot.
Chez Posted 19 May, 2012 Posted 19 May, 2012 He sacked his manager because he realised that he was giving ****ing bad advice. He wants to be in the side. By and large he was worse when he came back (when fans got off his back) than he was before he left (when fans were on his back). I still think fans misunderstand what type of player he is. He's not pacey or a direct winger, or someone that will get to the byline. He's a touch player, no more no less.
