doddisalegend Posted 14 May, 2012 Share Posted 14 May, 2012 According to the League managers assocation league tables http://www.leaguemanagers.com/managers/mpl-league.html?seasonid=142&type=Season+Total Wierdly Brain McDermott is 12th making Nigel the best manager in the Campionship on paper this season. Well done NA.
stu0x Posted 14 May, 2012 Share Posted 14 May, 2012 It's because it isn't just based on league tables, it rewards larger winning margins, wins away from home, etc. All of which goes to show that Brian "we were by far the best team in this division" McDermott was talking a fair amount of ****e. Yes they won the league, and deservedly so, but they rode their luck and squeaked through an awful lot of results, especially towards the end of the season. I honestly think that reading will struggle more than us next season.....you can't play the better teams in the NPC and concede 20+ per chances a game to aim to hit them on the break...well, they did but that won't be much use in the premier league
stev2001 Posted 14 May, 2012 Share Posted 14 May, 2012 When did Arsene Wenger get an OBE? As long as we finish above Harry and AW next season i'll be happy coming behind Sir Alex and Roberto Surely Sir Alex is a KBE being a Sir? Surely this out ranks his old CBE - Off topic no replies please
beavis17 Posted 14 May, 2012 Share Posted 14 May, 2012 Adkins out. Keith Curle in. From 16 matches compared to 52. Unproven IMO. Maybe if things aren't going well by Christmas though.

They're not as good as the last time they came up though. They already had premier league quality in players like Sidwell and Doyle, not too sure what they have now that's top top quality. Just depends what everyone does over the summer.
