Lighthouse Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 One of these teams is for the drop. QPR started with a 2 point advantage (and better GD) but are losing to City, whilst Bolton are 2-1 up at Stoke. Who would you rather be playing next season? Both will need to improve, but I think QPR have more cash to do it, whereas Bolton will struggle to attract quality players. Bolton is a longer trip for the away fans amongst us, but I'd have thought (anyone care to correct me) tickets there will be a bit cheaper. I'd prefer Bolton to stay up TBH.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 I would rather Bolton stayed up and I think they will, despite QPR being closer.
Big_Bald_Si Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 I really don't give a sh1t. Just want to see some proper last day drama!
Turkish Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 I am looking forward to see the fans of whoever is relegated crying. That is one of the highlights of the season for me. Last season was hilarious watching all those East London hardmen who are all related to the Krays grizzziling on the telly.
Sour Mash Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Bolton to stay up. Never liked QPR fans for some reason. Plus rip off match ticket prices.
CumbrianSaint Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 would love qpr to go down, as I hate Joey Barton
Lighthouse Posted 13 May, 2012 Author Posted 13 May, 2012 Christ, I hope Barton takes them down for that. Is there a bigger w*nker in football?
Jimmy_D Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Barton should not be allowed to make money for playing football.
DG Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Have wanted to see Bolton to go down for ages....but it's probably better for QPR to go down.
kpturner Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Got money on Bolton to beat Stoke. Dunno if it will be enough though.
Turkish Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 (edited) Not excuses the reaction to the sending off but you're all getting yourself at it because it's Joey Barton. It didn't actually look like did anything. What about Tevez diving around like he'd been shot and getting him sent off? Edit. I stand corrected he did elbow him in the chest/chin area. From the first angle it didn't look like he touched him. Still hate Tevez though. Edited 13 May, 2012 by Turkish
kpturner Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 If Barton had rolled around like girlie instead of retaliating he would still be on the pitch. Just saying....
Lighthouse Posted 13 May, 2012 Author Posted 13 May, 2012 Looks like it's Bolton going down at the moment, 2-1 to the Rs
kpturner Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Am I bad for laughing at those City fans in tears? I do cry at football, but usually after something amazingly good has happened to Saints
Turkish Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Am I bad for laughing at those City fans in tears? I do cry at football, but usually after something amazingly good has happened to Saints I just cracked up at that. brilliant stuff!!!
Jimmy_D Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 City need to score soon if they're going to have a chance here...
dubai_phil Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 ROFL stream quality is appalling only got 20 seconds of the game so far and it was the 2nd goal. Feel bad for my mate he's in a pub in Switzerland wearing his Noblot shirt he must have been through hell this pm
SNSUN Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Bolton every day of the week, and they're doing their bit by winning. Bloody QPR winning though too, but if there's one team you don't want to be holding on to a lead against when down to ten men, it's Man City. Not over yet...
Flyer Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Barton should not be allowed to make money for playing football. This is torture for me, hopefully he gets his contract cancelled for that. crouch wins a pen, score it stoke!
Legod Third Coming Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Come on your Rs - 20 minutes away from me Loftus!!! Plus I have a soft spot having been these so often with pals!
kpturner Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 This is torture for me, hopefully he gets his contract cancelled for that. crouch wins a pen, score it stoke! Nooooo! Crouch now owes me money!
sperm_john Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 put a fiver on qpr to win at half time, got 95/1, papping myself
skintsaint Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Would prefer QPR to stay up, we always seem to never beat Bolton. Can see Citeh and Sunderland scoring last minute goals here....
shurlock Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 (edited) Frantic football, stuff of nightmares for city fans with the knick knack paddy wack song echoing on the other channel. Almost forget they were 1 up. Thank god our last game was such a cakewalk in the end. Edited 13 May, 2012 by shurlock
Flyer Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 The funny think about Citeh is that they were already selling chanpions merchandise. We it could become collectors items now.
aintforever Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 I wanted City to win it but it's ****ing hilarious watching them mess it up.
Legod Third Coming Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Er this is the most incredible football match I have seen in my life I think!
dubai_phil Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Er this is the most incredible football match I have seen in my life I think! Having to listen & BBC guy having trouble even speaking
Flyer Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Well done on winning the league. QPR stay up and Man U dont win the league, perfect.
kpturner Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 put a fiver on qpr to win at half time, got 95/1, papping myself Oh Dear
Thedelldays Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Now that is how you end a season Amazing. And we are in that next year
aintforever Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Fantastic stuff, love, ****ing love watching Man Utd fans cry.
Legod Third Coming Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Now that is how you end a season Amazing. And we are in that next year Fabulous, fabulous day. I really, really enoyed that.
Colinjb Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 I can't wait to be in that league next season. Utterly, utterly incredible.
Legod Third Coming Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 I can't wait to be in that league next season. Utterly, utterly incredible. Yep imagine when we're in with a chance of winning it on the final day
Thedelldays Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 That is why we are re joining the best league in the world Amazing day for a neutral
Ohio Saint Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 That is why we are re joining the best league in the world Amazing day for a neutral I was neutral except for the fact that I could feel the City fan's pain like no other time I have felt for other fans. I could so easily imagine us in that situation after our last few games. Well done City, and congratulations!
mightysaints Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Glad Bolton are down. Their owners wanted non relegation from the premier
SNSUN Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Unfreakingbelievable. And to top it all off, Bolton would've stayed up if they'd held on to their lead. Can you imagine the City fans celebrating and the QPR fans gutted though? Harsh. Wonderful finish to a season I've not been paying attention to until I knew we'd be in it next season!!!
paulwantsapint Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Well hope city enjoy their day because they will be playing for 2nd next season after we wrap up the title with a game or so to spare
Colinjb Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Yep imagine when we're in with a chance of winning it on the final day Now there's a dream to have!
