spyinthesky Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 There has been plenty of discussion on the Saints players to keep/dispense with on this Forum and we all have our views For those who get the pink, the piece by Geoff Smith is, to my mind, pretty well spot on
John Boy Saint Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 And for us exiles who don't get the Football Echo ? Those North of Winchester fall into that bracket.
PhilippineSaint Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Those North of Winchester fall into that bracket. Or South of the Isle of Wight
spyinthesky Posted 13 May, 2012 Author Posted 13 May, 2012 France? Football Echo is now available online (subscription service I'm afraid) which may be helpful to those away from the distribution area When I was away at Uni my Dad used to post me a copy and this was the highlight of my week, especially as we were a Div 1 team at the time and my house mates both supported lower league teams so I always had the bragging rights
Kingsland Red Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 For those in the geographical area not in the distribution area of The Pink, I would like to confirm that most of what Mr Smith says makes sense. Hope this helps !!!!!
Turkish Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 He makes some valid points but also misses some key ones out.
beatlesaint Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 The only one I would really disagree with him on is Chaplow to be honest.
SNSUN Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Care to paraphrase? I only read The Pink at Winchester services on the way to home games, and even then I don't pay for it.
SuperMikey Posted 13 May, 2012 Posted 13 May, 2012 Read it earlier, disagreed on a few points (Chaplow especially) but overall not a bad summary.
Gordon Mockles Posted 14 May, 2012 Posted 14 May, 2012 What a great thread. Was this a failed market push to help The Pink or just a hypothetical conversation avoiding actually illustrating the content online? Kind of renders it pointless in that respect. You'd make a lousy journalist but a good Freemason!
